'We came for an overnight stay for a family event. Instructions for checking in, getting in the house and parking were easy enough. The house was clean and the views of the lake were spectacular…so much better in person than in the photos! Would love to stay here again when I’m back in town.'

'Beautiful, quirky home filled with custom art pieces by the owners’ friends and family. It was a perfect weekend getaway for us and our two kids and dog. There is a large creek at the edge of the property that our kids and dog loved, and a fire pit where we roasted marshmallows. Lovely central kitchen, comfy beds, and large living room that looks out on a sun deck. Every detail in the house seems to be custom made, and it delighted our kids to no end :). Would definitely stay again!'

'We were in the area to see extended family in Newtown but needed a “home base” for our family of four. Lambertville was the perfect spot, and the house was ideal! We enjoyed the easy access to the canal path for morning runs and close proximity to cute shops and bakeries. Hope to return!'

'The Milford House provided us with a very pleasant stay in the countryside of New Jersey along the nice Delaware River side. This was a nice combination after our visits to the city centres of New York, Manhattan and Washington. We also visited the various villages along the river, walked from bridge to bridge, climbed the Bowman's Tower and enjoyed having breakfast and dinner outside on the porch of the house.
