'It was like staying in an old time elegant home in the historic lodge. The reading room was our all time favorite. If we were not out and about we were there. They had installed an elevator to use to get to the second floor and basement to the underground parking garage, with a garage door!! The breakfast was homemade and wonderful as were the happy hour snacks and beverages. It instantly became our all time favorite place !'

'Great location! They have a few bicycles to go to the beach. The neighbourhood has some fine restaurants. You can walk to the ferry that brings you into the Gaslamp district. Unfortunately the price for this 3 minute cross-over is priced a 8 US$ single journey. '

'Cherokee Lodge is in a great neighborhood, 1 block off Orange, the main street through town. Excellent accommodations, clean and quiet. Walkable to shopping and excellent restaurants. Would definitely stay here again and again.Walkablle '
