Mooi verblijf, aan zee met prima zwembad. Vriendelijke medewerkers. Het eten viel wat tegen. Weinig variatie en voor iemand met wat allergieën zijn er weinig opties. Maar verder prima verblijf gehad hier.

The staff made every effort to be friendly and helpful, way beyond expectations often. Food was always good, fresh, and available. Plenty of easy snorkeling right off the pristine beach or a short walk north or south. This is our choice destination for future trips to Cozumel.

I very much enjoyed my stay at Melia! It was wonderful to have an incredibly beautiful beach just steps from our room. You can see the sunset perfectly every night. There was some seaweed that washed up on the shore but mostly in the evenings, the staff kept up with clearing it from the beach daily. The morning water was clear and blue! The staff was absolutely incredible the entire time. So welcoming, friendly and very helpful! The property was clean and well maintained, there was always someone cleaning or working on something. The buffet was abundant at all times and the three onsite restaurants were great. Only downfall was that you could only make one reservation at the restaurants for every 3 nights. There was entertainment every night right at the hotel, wonderful shows put on and afterwards a DJ with different themes music nights. The pools were beautiful and clean, they are not heated and there is no hot tub for the evening which would have been nice. There is one adult only pool with pool bar overlooking the beach and one family friendly one in the back with lots of kids activities and entertainment throughout the resort. I would recommend Melia!

Very clean and accommodations were great with great service. Santiago and Alfonso took good care of us. The food and drinks were awesome! The only issue we had was getting coffee in the morning. They should have some type of convenient coffee bar.

I had a good time during my stay at Melia Cozumel! It’s a bit small compared to some of the resorts I’ve stayed at in Cancun — there’s three restaurants and one of them is the buffet. The reservation system is odd in that the number of reservations you are "allowed" depends on how many nights you're staying. Because I was 4 nights, we got two reservations. The other two nights, you can pay $15 taxi to the Centro, or eat the OK dinner at the buffet. Dinner at Fish House was excellent though! Food overall was pretty good. The ocean view is gorgeous and worth it. The rooms themselves need to be updated. The furniture is worn and a bit old, the bathrooms average. The service was great everywhere— housekeeping, bartenders, servers— all were amazing and so friendly. The only people who were a bit unhelpful were the people at check-in who didnt properly explain the reservation system, where to pick up towels, hotel events, etc (and I was speaking Spanish). The beach is gorgeous. Some days it has seaweed but the hotel takes care of the seaweed. Recommend walking along the beach— there is a beach next door with crystal clear water and and amazing fish! Overall— I had a pleasant stay and the property is beautiful. Great for families. I took points off for the outdated rooms and the limited food options for dinner. It’s also a bit far from most of the excursions on the island (30min drive).

Guest service female. Scolded me about her having to get up and retrieve two beach towels for me. Told me dye was only going to get them this time. Next time I had to get them from the pool boy. I had already tried to get them from the pool boy. I explained to her he wasn’t there. She didn’t believe me. Stay five days. Only allowed to eat in good restaurant twice. No shuttle to or from airport Most staff were very considerate. Tulum excursion was a disaster.

The property was older but very well maintained. Everyone was very pleasant, but most did not go above and beyond like other all-inclusives. Jorge was amazing as server. It was disappointing that the level side pool was adults only and had we known this we would have chosen another resort that would have better accommodated a family. Hours were somewhat restricted (e.g. coffee shop opens at 11 am). All in all our stay was good but could have been excellent with issues above addressed.

First time at an all- inclusive and this property did not disappoint my spouse and I. We reserved Level Grand Premium and were assigned a concierge Hector who attended to all our needs and was very good. The room was very clean and large The staff at restaurants house keeping, luggage, grounds keeping and front, at the pool were all excellent The white sand beech was beautiful and large no coral and cleaned every morning. We walked the beech to adjacent hotels and they did not have a sandy beech additionally they had a nasty smell due to algae growing on the coral at the beech. the buffet was very good - plenty of selection and the main courses changed every day, although some days much better options than others but overall very good. My hat off to the property / hotel manager as it must be very challenging to keep up this level of service. We enjoyed our stay very much and will be back at Melia again Area of improvement in my opinion. One of the two elevators was always out of service. Once both were out of service and had to use the stairs to our 7th floor room(total 12 floors) I am vegetarian, my wife is not,, although I could always find something on salad bar to eat , not much choices unless uou want to eat pasta and potato and rice or some variation every day. There is an excellent fish restauran with 500 me. of the hotel, my wife love sea food and we just walked there a couple of times and both times the chef prepared a great vedie dish for me(not on menu)

We had an amazing time and it was gorgeous, we did not level up and honestly the only thing we missed out on was a nicer room with a better view. Pros: Food was good, even at the buffet. I had read a lot of reviews that said otherwise and was nervous but ended up being happily surprised. We could always find something we enjoyed at the buffet no matter what time of day. The drinks were great and the guys at the swim up bar were awesome! Honestly, all the staff were awesome! However, a standout for us was Abril, with the entertainment, she was awesome and remembered our names throughout the trip! Karaoke was our favorite night entertainment, everyone got involved and it was great! Room was always cleaned, beach was beautiful every day… and we would snorkel next door too, both were great! Cons: there aren’t many, but if I had to list something it would be the reservation process for the two restaurants on the resort. We were able to eat once at each but I had to be in line to make a reservation before 9am to make sure I could get one. When you have excursions and do a lot off the resort that makes it difficult. We didn’t really receive a tour when we arrived so a lot of it was us just finding things on our own. Outside of that, I don’t have a lot of negatives, it was a beautiful place, with great staff. I think some people that come here only focus on the few negatives or are very picky… If you decide to come here relax and enjoy paradise!

I had the best time from the moment I arrived at Meliá. The staff were excellent, so attentive, patient and kind. Huge shoutout to Julio, David, Erik, Maximiliano, Diego, Miguel & Antonio for taking good care of us throughout our trip and always having the best energy! The distance from the room to the pool and beach was phenomenal and convenient. The buffet looked out onto the beach with the best view 24/7. Every evening there was a different show which was always entertaining. The service was always quick and consistent for food & drinks. The beach itself was incredible. You never had the misfortune of not having a lounger and the adult pool was always fun and not jam packed. lots of cool wildlife and aquatic animals, snorkelling and sea-Doos were available and the water was crystal clear. The downtown was so close as well as the airport which made it easy to get around quickly. Overall, one of the best vacations I’ve had by far. I will be returning within the near future and recommend this resort to anyone. 10/10

Loved the resort. It’s not as big as your secrets and sandals but they have a lot to do for kids and adults. Just wasn’t too impressed with the food. Excellent stay at this intimate all inclusive resort from Mar 23-28. The property is relatively small but makes up with attentive service and excellent activities. On one day we had an issue with the wait staff which was addressed the next day by the F&B manager and they sent us chocolate strawberries and champagne to our room. The activity team of Julio Oswaldo and David goes above and beyond to entertain the guests during their stay. Top notch effort. We’ll definitely stay here in the future.

The property was beautiful and well maintained. ALL the staff were amazing and so pleasant. They worked so hard and totally deserved to be tipped which they appreciate so much. They would even remember how I liked my coffee and wanted one to go. On reviews I’ve read before going, they talked about the food. I don’t care what resort you go to from a high end to lower the buffet will never please everyone. You have to remember how many people they are trying to please and I’m sure you will not be hungry. At the buffet I was so impressed to see a section dedicated to children. Children can be picky about their food, but they usually like what they had on it. Chicken nuggets, fries, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with the crust cut off, jello, cookies, and different kinds of cereal. Even seen grownups going there. They have an adult area and family area with a pool in each. We stayed in the Royal Level room which was definitely worth it. If you’re looking for a party place this would not be for you. Quite and relaxing place to stay. The water was gorgeous. You could see through the water and looking out you can see the different colors of blue. I will definitely be returning to this resort.

This place is a great family friendly resort, the rooms could use a little updating, but let’s be honest, if you’re going to Cozumel to hang out in a room, there isn’t much hope for you to begin with!! The resort is super safe! Very Friendly and accommodating staff! Walking south on the beach to snorkel down is awesome! In general Cozumel is my new favorite spot. If you want hustle and bustle go to Cancun or Playa Del Carmen. If you want a beautiful beach, town, and island attitude, come to Melia Cozumel!

Our stay at the Melia was overall very enjoyable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The kids pool was nice and the beach was a stone's throw away. Some friendly iguanas came out from the lagoon everyday, which our kids really enjoyed looking at. The buffet had a lot of different options to choose from everyday and getting take-out orders from the Mexican restaurant (Mole) was nice for a change of scenery (eating at the pool or beach). Dinner reservations were tricky to nail down but we managed to get two. Mole was okay but Fish House was amazing! The mini golf course was okay. It definitely needs some TLC though. The games room was disappointing. It was dark and smelled like a wet towel. The games were all in pretty bad condition as well. We were annoyed to learn that there was free snorkeling equipment to borrow on the last day of our stay. We feel like this should have been mentioned when we arrived. There was a really beautiful spot to go snorkeling at (beside the pier). We would definitely stay at the Melia again and recommend it to friends and family.
