'We loved the location. So close to Shenandoah National Park, Luray Caverns and more, yet very peaceful and quiet. The owner was quick to respond when we had a standoff with the cows. Haha'

'We really enjoyed staying at this cozy, renovated1700's kitchen house! It had perfect spaces for our 2 teenaged boys to spread out upstairs, beautiful views and places to walk, and was excellent for running between Woodberry and Charlottesville. The friendly dogs and fresh eggs were an added bonus for us.'

'This house was lovely and the grounds well manicured. We had fabulous weather and used outdoor seating both in the backyard and front yard. Jeff, our host, was quick to reply and the house is stocked with everything you could need. Very close to so many Charlottesville attractions. Great location.'

'The space was modern, well decked out and had d a kitchen with everything you needed! Beds and living areas were very comfortable. Outdoor spaces were gorgeous. The host was very gracious and genuinely concerned his guest had a great stay. I highly recommend the space.'

'Cub Acre Farm was right up our alley! We love old homes, especially farmhouses. It was secluded, quiet, inviting, and peaceful. The view from the back porch was spectacular and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for our meals. The only thing I would change is the availability of a washer and dryer. We are looking forward to staying again!!'

'We rented Due Sorelle for our extended family during our son's wedding weekend at Early Mountain Vineyards. We loved the house -- it was charming and spotless, with the bonus of a generous welcome basket waiting for us at our arrival. It provided a restful, comfortable home base for our out-of-town parents and siblings to prepare for the weekend activities and relax between events at the vineyard (only a 15 minute drive away). 'This was a perfect property to stay and visit our JMU daughter. The house is so clean and had all the kitchen items to be able to make her some home cooked meals. We enjoyed watching final four games on the huge tv. We loved this property and will absolutely be back!'

One of most beautiful porches we have ever sipped coffee on, with a breath taking view of the valley below and blue ridges in the distance. 'The property itself met my expectations and was pleasant to stay at, however, upon check-in i was told that there would be an extra cleaning fee (expedia wont let me include the price but it was a good amount). I was a little surprised and wished they had made that more clear before i booked the property, but at that point i had to pay the fee. Following that, we were given a checklist of our duties upon checkout that included stripping the beds, washing all dishes, taking out the trash,...
