Our son had a soccer tournament in Hickory with spaced out game times, rescheduled games due to weather, etc. The Blue Door Guesthouse was our comfortable oasis to relax and enjoy family time. 'We enjoyed our stay at Three Trails. They had everything we needed. The bedrooms are on the lower floor. The exposed brick, smooth floors and open piping really leant well to the industrial feel but it was warm and inviting. We'd definitely recommend for anyone wanting to stay in the middle of wine country.'

'The studio is well-sized. Created from a garage, it is now a stunning pool house. The design is trendy and cool. It had everything we needed, plus extra thoughts from the owner, like little add-ons like suntan lotion for the pool. It is quietly placed behind a grand home in downtown Hickory. 'My girlfriends and I plan weekend getaways a few times a year. We all live within one hour of Elkin and enjoy being out in nature. There are so many things to do in the area from hiking, kayaking, wine hopping and more. Three Trails was a perfect spot within walking distance to shops and restaurants. The hotel is clean and modern with all the amenities you may want or need. Our host was available and kept me informed. Definitely will stay again! Thank you'
