'A nice small-scale resort with an excellent view. The place could do with some maintenance (paint coming off the walls and mould here and there). Also disappointing there is no restaurant (although there is an external restaurant onsite that serves decent breakfast). We spent the first night of our Yucatan trip here, which was nice enough, but wouldn't recommend it for long-term stay.'

'Clean rooms'

'We've been to many Secrets resorts before and this one is just ok. It is new and doesn't have that "Soul" yet. The capacity at the time we visited the resort was about 60%. The hotel app doesn't allow you to make a reservation to any restaurant. Even through our butler it was not possible. We went to Bluewater Grill once and Himitsu. In both cases we were told to wait 1 hour just to get the pager and after that ??? We did not go to these 2 restaurants. With 60 % capacity you can only imagine...

'My family and I stayed at the resort for 6 days. Everything was great!! We booked through the Expedia and we got room upgrade, we had the lagoon view and they put us at the room with a beach front view … room was very clean, they clean the rooms 2x a day … never had this before … we had 24 hours room service which was pretty fast, staff was very helpful and kind everywhere we go. 'Amazing hospitality, great food, great views, good vibes'

'Great personnel, comfortable beds and of course: the Caribbean Sea! All in all, we had a great experience! The only constructive feedback I can give is to pay more attention to people with food allergies.'

'Personeel is vriendelijk. Hotel is erg centraal gelegen. Het eten is lekker bij het buffet. Ik zou er alleen niet elke dag eten want dan eet je bijna elke dag hetzelfde. Parkeren is gemakkelijk en gratis. Wel is het hotel erg druk. Druk bij het restaurant, rijen! Ook bij het inchecken enorme rijen en chaos van alle drukte. 'I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The room cleanliness was not acceptable at all. The bathroom had multiple issues — the sink was constantly leaking, the shower water would spill outside, and we had to put towels on the floor to stop the water from flooding the room. 'We had to move after 2 nights b/c they were doing construction outside our door. The 1st night in the 2nd place a woman let herself into our room with the key, saying she booked it through airbnb. She’s been given the wrong info. 2 days later we couldn’t use the balcony b/c they were power washing right above it.
