'We loved Sun Palace, they offer several pools, great atmosphere, nice spa, great resturants, we liked the Thai a lot. I'd recommend it for a nice get away.'

'Secrets claimed this is a "New" property, only part of the building is new and that area is reserved for their "Preferred club members". So the rest of the building has had some updates and it's OK, but not NEW. Very disappointed in their claims. 'A nice small-scale resort with an excellent view. The place could do with some maintenance (paint coming off the walls and mould here and there). Also disappointing there is no restaurant (although there is an external restaurant onsite that serves decent breakfast). We spent the first night of our Yucatan trip here, which was nice enough, but wouldn't recommend it for long-term stay.'

'Personeel is vriendelijk. Hotel is erg centraal gelegen. Het eten is lekker bij het buffet. Ik zou er alleen niet elke dag eten want dan eet je bijna elke dag hetzelfde. Parkeren is gemakkelijk en gratis. Wel is het hotel erg druk. Druk bij het restaurant, rijen! Ook bij het inchecken enorme rijen en chaos van alle drukte. 'Clean rooms, very helpful staff and it was kid Friendly. The variety of food in the lunchroom was great but the restaurants on the property were full and the reservation system was inconvenient and not as accommodating for we didn’t even get to enjoy any of them.'

'It was good but not the best. I saw that some of the restaurants needed to be maintained. For example the walls on one of the restaurants paint job went only half way and you can easily tell that they didn’t do a good job. Several Staff members were very nice. Some of them were not, the lady in the gift shop was very rude to me.
