'The airport shuttle was really nice and wasn’t stressful at all, the food was great, our favorite was oishii!! The staff was really nice!! We wished the pool was a little warmer but otherwise we loved our experience.'

'We really enjoyed our stay at Hilton Mar Caribe! I traveled with my wife and two kids (6 & 9 yrs old). We found the overall service really good, the food and service in the specialty restaurants was extremely good, all the pools and pool entertainment were really nice, the kids club was amazing (much thanks to Geco and all the ladies there), Waldemar at the gym and pool exercises was cool, and the entertainment was excellent for what were looking for. 'We value the beach very high for these types of trips and the beach was full of seaweed for most of the trip and the water felt a bit rough (very wavy). Not necessarily the hotels fault and on less windy days, the hotel cleaned the seaweed pretty well. However, I would go to a different area next time in search for calmer and cleaner waters. The hotel was comfortable and clean, but we didn't like the food as much and the quality of the drinks was inconsistent (sometimes good, sometimes bad)....

'Personeel is vriendelijk. Hotel is erg centraal gelegen. Het eten is lekker bij het buffet. Ik zou er alleen niet elke dag eten want dan eet je bijna elke dag hetzelfde. Parkeren is gemakkelijk en gratis. Wel is het hotel erg druk. Druk bij het restaurant, rijen! Ook bij het inchecken enorme rijen en chaos van alle drukte. Verder prima hotel voor een paar daagjes om je vakantie af te sluiten.'

'We had to move after 2 nights b/c they were doing construction outside our door. The 1st night in the 2nd place a woman let herself into our room with the key, saying she booked it through airbnb. She’s been given the wrong info. 2 days later we couldn’t use the balcony b/c they were power washing right above it. Our stovetop has electrocuted me multiple times even though I was very careful after the 1st time. Our 5th night the microwave lit on fire. 2 security guys came to to try to find out...

'The room is very nice and spacious, had a great ocean view which was unobstructed. We used all the items in the room and they would clean/replenish daily. We had a little leak in the room and they fixed it the same afternoon that we told them about it. The staff were very attentive and super helpful when asking questions. They gave a lot of recommendations on the drinks/food and local activities. The beach was very clean, nice waves but nothing too dangerous. Pools were beautiful, well kept, and...
