'This place was perfection! It was exactly what we were looking for- peaceful and relaxing. Our host Pele (the cat ) met us when we arrived, guided us up the stairs (that aren’t that bad), and was a pleasure to have around. In all seriousness, Gus was very responsive and helpful and we are very thankful that he offers his little piece of paradise for others to experience. '

You wake up every morning to pheasants, and they eat straight out of your hand. Very spacious, and the bathroom has a lot of free toiletries. If you’re thinking about booking, noon this place! 'Amazing property. Beautiful, quiet, private space. Very nice two bedroom unit with everything you need. We really enjoyed Koki, a sweet dog that would visit from time to time. We enjoyed hanging out on the deck and listening to the birds and frogs. We’d love to stay again. '

'We stayed 12 nights and absolutely loved it! Puako is a hidden gem on the Big Island. The house was so comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed waking up to the sound of the birds each morning, seeing all the geckos, and looking out for other wildlife (mongooses, wild pigs, etc). We were just a short walk from the ocean and tons of world class snorkeling. We also spent a lot of time at nearby Waialea Beach (also amazing). Literally no complaints, except we wished we could have stayed longer! Thank you...
