'Pictures online undersell this little cottage. The layout is family friendly and also completely suitable for a couple or even individual stay. The owner was very responsive and the property showed pride in ownership. Plenty of towels and bedding were provided. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and such. It was our most comfortable VRBO rental ever, where the pictures UNDERstate the size and comfort of the living area, dining room (with a gorgeous table for 10!), and bedrooms (super comfortable beds and linens)! 'House is immaculate, like new! Back deck is great for morning coffee and a place to read without the bugs. Everything you need in kitchen is there, no need to bring anything. Beds are plenty comfortable. My only negative is that it would be helpful if there were electrical outlets by the beds. Because of outlet placement, we slept in separate rooms. Some odd rules like taking your own garbage to the dump and stripping the beds and putting sheets in washer.'

'My wife, two sons (10 and 7), and our dog had a wonderful stay at this riverfront cabin in the Adirondacks. The home was exactly as described and depicted, yet somehow even bigger than we expected! The location is perfect for nearby hiking and fishing. Short drives to Lake Placid and Whiteface Mountain, plus many other high peaks. Every drive offered breathtaking views. 'This property is outfitted simply but well. I especially enjoyed having a glass of wine on the lovely deck with its great view, despite being close to a road. This is not a luxury getaway, but a well-located (close to the bridge to Vermont) and affordable one. Very good communication from the host!'

'When we arrived everything was clean but dishwasher was full of dirty dishes.No big deal we just ran dishwasher.Full disclosure we forgot run dishwasher when we left. Suggest telling future renters with boats that coming from north end of lake is alot easier than coming up Rt 9N over the mountain. All in all was trip Thank you'

'Lakeside location was amazing! The deck is nice place to enjoy some coffee or a drink. The house is stocked with lots of fun activities like books/dvds/games. Overall great place for a cozy getaway! The space is on the smaller side so good for two people or three at most.'
