'The property, parking & rooms are beautiful. However…my daughter and I both had the worst sleep of our life here. It was so extremely uncomfortable (bed & pillows) we were up for 2 nights. Also, we got scammed upon checkin. Our reservation was cancelled and we were never called about the card we used on file. The staff member said “oh we cancelled alot of reservations this morning. But don’t worry we’ll just rebook it for you. Someone should’ve called you”. No one called, the price was double...

'This hotel is Conveniently located across the street from Kings Dominion. We drove 3 1/2 hours to go to amusement park and after a long day needed to rest. We drove literally out of the park lot across street to this hotel. The indoor pool added for extra fun for kids. Pool open til11pm and check out at 12 so that helped a lot to. The hotel is clean and served a good breakfast. The beds aren’t the best but everything is clean!'

'Was a first class hotel and is now in poor condition, the owners need to spend some $ the golf course next store is closed and nothing but weeds and cut down trees. Most staff are very nice.'

'I love the TRU by Hilton chain! The hotels are fresh and looking modern and young. They’re clean and are also focused on younger people who do remote working. I always book a hotel from that chain and the one in Ashland was no exception. Breakfast is typically US, so not the best but super bad either.'

'i'd like to recognize Lawrence at the breakfast time. Although we did not partake of any of the food because we had our own, he was very accommodating, personable, and very welcoming. The biggest sushi we had there is the first room we were given was not made up so they sent us to another one which was fine… And then 4:30 in the morning the telephone went off with a message, which was not able to attain. When I went to the front desk and asked about it, she said… Oh yeah all of the messages go...

'I had an accident with my room since it leaked water from the bathroom to the room, I recommend remodeling the entire bathroom of this room since it looks "old" the grout of the tile is dirty and I think it is not the quality standard of the Marriott'
