'We had a good stay overall. This is a home at the end of an inlet with a small pier facing the creek. It had a pretty backyard. It is close to other homes but that was okay for us, although some more window treatments in the kitchen and facing the back would be a good option. Home was recently renovated/updated with new kitchen and furniture. Nicely styled/decorated like in pictures. Pictures on listing missing a third bedroom and the second bathroom. Only concern was that some areas were not...

'We never got to stay at the property because Expedia never posted the booking and it is impossible to contact Expedia to resolve any type of issue. I wouldn't recommend that anyone use that site to book a reservation. We were traveling and was 3 hours from home and was turned away from the resort because Expedia had not given the information to the resort. We had to find last minute accommodation and are still trying tl get our money back. '

'Great location & wonderful amenities! You can’t beat the beauty of the river’s view and the woods that surround the property. We stayed with our two young sons and they loved playing outside, the arcade games, and the dock. The only draw back for families is not having an internal staircase, but it wasn’t too much of a problem for us. This is definitely more for a rustic getaway rather than a luxurious stay. It worked very well for our family of boys. '

'Great location, quiet family friendly area. The back sliding door was broken making the home insecure. The owner genuinely seemed to not know about the issue and offered to come take a look and was very responsive. We used a door bar gadget to secure the door. We also had to clean up a bit including sweeping and cleaning kitchen sink and counters. Those were missed by the cleaner. Overall though, great location and close to lots of great restaurants and shopping! '

'The house was just as advertised. Back yard was great for our dog.Home was clean and everything worked. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy and not the most convenient location, but I never felt unsafe and it was quiet.'

'Staying in Gloucester is just wonderful. You can walk to the produce market, the library, several good restaurants. It’s quiet and everyone is friendly.'

'This house was the perfect place for myself and my family. We all fit comfortably within the rooms and had plenty of space in the common areas to all gather and hang out. The house was well taken care of and had everything available that we needed to carry out day to day functions like cooking and self-care. Would recommend to a friend, and would personally visit again! '
