'Our stay started during a blackout, so I can be forgiven for thinking that, at first, I had just entered into a horror movie. But when the lights came back on, my family and I found ourselves in a lovely house. The house is a little bit off the path, but the yard is enormous and also has fruit trees, a starfruit, star apple, and I think one I couldn't identify. The house has four bedrooms and two bathrooms, though one bathroom is literally attached to one of the bedrooms. If you don't mind...

'The house was very clean. It is centrally located on the island. We went to every coast on the island and our longest drive was about an hour. We enjoyed sitting by the ocean in the morning. The ocean is only about 100' from the door.'

'If you want something quiet besides the joy of listening to the ocean, you have found your place. You mostly have the entire beach to yourself. Just a short drive away from the downtown area of the North Shore.'

Great breeze throughout so no issues with heat, though it's still April, so not sure how summer would be. Beach path right around the corner, very easy access. The adorable little town of Haleiwa is a fifteen minute drive and is full of tourist amenities. The four large dogs on the property do bark during the nights and early morning hours but not continuously. The “orchard” is a dozen trees that do bear some fruit despite being neglected.
