My daughter-in-law and her two children could only join us for a day but the kids made the most of being so close to the beaches and near-by Capitola, where the quaint shops and friendly people reminded me of the days I took my children to body surf nearby. 'What a wonderful place for a girls weekend! We have been friends for over 40 years. The property was spotless, very comfortable, beautiful view and easy walk to beach. Would love to come back again. The drip coffee pot was not working well. The keruig was perfect. Plenty of dishes and pots and pans to make excellent meals. Joe was very responsive to questions.'

'Owner has done a wonderful job of updating the house even having HVAC installed. The area is "old" and there's a lot of street parking but the house has a short driveway for 1 car. The fenced in back yard was good for our dogs.'

'One of the highest decks in the neighborhood which delivers breath taking views of Monterey Bay and miles of coast line. Very well appointed kitchen with stainless steel appliances and all the small appliances/pots and pans/plates/glasses/utensils that you'll need. Charcoal BBQ on the back patio worked great for grilling local fish and vegetables. Bedrooms were all clean and very comfortable. 'During our trip to California, we had to find a property that was spacious, clean and where we could stay for only 1 night. Fortunately for us, Faris allowed us to stay at his awesome property. Plenty of bedrooms for our 5-person adult family, with excellent bathrooms and kitchen. Was convenient for our trips into Monterey and Carmel. Thank you, Faris, for making our list night on vacation a happy one!'
