Heerlijk hotel, prima ontbijt en gratis parkeren
In de VS hebben we verschillende keren naar volle tevredenheid in een La Quinta gelogeerd. Omdat we laat aankwamen in Cancun kozen we ervoor om 1 nacht in Cancun te blijven en daarna door te reizen. De accommodatie was precies wat we verwacht hadden: schoon en ruim. Natuurlijk merk je wel het verschil in cultuur. Het personeel is vriendelijk maar mist toch de Amerikaanse gastvrijheid. We konden de auto parkeren in de parkeergarage en ook het ontbijt was voortreffelijk. De ontbijtruimte was prima maar minder gezellig door werkzaamheden. Waarschijnlijk bedoeld om de ruimte te vergroten en te verbeteren. We misten wel een beetje de gratis koffie in de lobby zoals in Amerika het geval is.

Al llegar nos recibiĂł un joven muy amable que nos ayudĂł con nuestras maletas, cabe mencionar que Ă©ramos 5 amigas. Llegamos a recepciĂłn y JOSEPH nos atendiĂł, de entrada se confundĂ­a constantemente con las reservas, a mi amiga le check in por dos huĂ©spedes cuando en realidad era por tres, mi reserva estuvo bien hecha pero su pĂ©sima atenciĂłn, posteriormente empieza a discutir que estaba mal hecha la reserva de mi amiga, pedimos ayuda a VERONICA pero fue lo mismo, atenciĂłn nula y nos regañó. Al final tuvimos que pagar la persona extra cuando ya estaba reservada por expedia, pero no lo hicieron vĂĄlido. La experiencia pĂ©sima, eso sumĂĄndole a que: dos focos fundidos en la habitaciĂłn, filtraciones de agua en la recepciĂłn, la cortina le entra toda la claridad y a las 6 am ya estĂĄs lampareada sin descanso alguno. NO RECOMENDABLE. Pero aĂșn mĂĄs, por la atenciĂłn tan pĂ©sima de JOSEPH Y VERONICA.

Cuando comprĂ© la habitaciĂłn en EXPEDIA, elegĂ­ la que claramente marcaba capacidad para 4 personas (habitaciĂłn con 2 camas Queen) a la hora del check-in llegamos 3 huĂ©spedes para alojarnos y el Staff del hotel no lo permitiĂł. nos dijo que la habitaciones eran Ășnicamente para 2 personas y de manera grosera hizo que pagĂĄramos 600 pesos mas por lo que ellos consideraban una persona extra. Les enseñamos la reservaciĂłn y se ve que claramente el wyndham garden inn de CancĂșn tiene publicadas habitaciones de 4 huĂ©spedes en EXPEDIA y el hotel no lo respetĂł. PĂ©simo servicio al cliente de parte del hotel y mal por EXPEDIA que no obliga a los hoteles a respetar lo que publican en su plataforma

De La Torre, Agradezco que nos comparta sus comentarios, los cuales nos ayudan a mejorar, nuestro objetivo es atender a nuestros huĂ©spedes y para nosotros es un honor contar con su preferencia. Dando seguimiento a su comentario he revisando la reservaciĂłn directamente con la agencia Expedia, veo que su reservaciĂłn esta confirmada Ășnicamente para 2 personas, esta informaciĂłn tambiĂ©n esta disponible para usted y puede consultarla directamente con la agencia. Me parece que la confusiĂłn sobre la capacidad para 4 personas se dio en el momento en que se selecciono el nĂșmero de personas que estarĂ­an hospedĂĄndose, por lo que en la reservaciĂłn de la habitaciĂłn que tiene la mĂĄxima capacidad efectivamente para 4 personas, solo registro 2 personas que en automĂĄtico toma como base el sistema y que el huĂ©sped al reservar modifica de acuerdo a su requerimiento. Entiendo que nuestro equipo de recepciĂłn le comento en su momento, lo que en nuestro sistema tenĂ­amos confirmado a travĂ©s de la reservaciĂłn que usted realizo en Expedia y al tener solo dos personas registradas le solicitaron el pago de la 3ra persona. Lamentablemente no hubo oportunidad de comunicarla con la agencia, de manera que pudiera aclarar esta confusiĂłn y apoyarnos a que su experiencia resultara mucho mĂĄs satisfactoria. Nuevamente agradezco su tiempo para compartirnos sus comentarios que nos dan la oportunidad de atender sus recomendaciones. Atentamente DirecciĂłn de Ventas.

I stayed a month here recently and the staff was SUPERB!! I am a recent amputee & this was my first solo trip and although I have stayed in Cancun many times before this was a first at a hotel downtown. The pool was very accessible, the restaurant had some great specials (just wish there were more traditional Mexican options) but they were very accommodating. I had a regular room and was able to move about comfortably. The housekeeper on my floor (2nd) was terrific. Room was always freshened and I appreciated the towel characters (yes I tipped her). The area around has good restaurant options, Walmart, Plaza Americas & Chedauri are all within walking distance. You are approx a 10 min Uber ride to the beach. My only 2 complaints I have was there is no microwave in the room (even though the website says there is) but you do get a small fridge and the air conditioning did not work for my last 10 days. You also are provided bottled water daily with your housekeeping. In addition I met some awesome guests from various parts around the world (a few will be life long) so that’s an added bonus. Thank you Guadalupe, Mario, Diego, Gilberto, Ricardo and all of you made my trip very memorable.

We stayed there for 2 nights and felt very inconvenient. When we informed the reception, a person came after so long checked something (didn’t solve the issue), said he would come back in 5 min but never came back. It was very hot and couldn’t sleep the entire night. We were shifted to another room the next day because of that but it was really disappointing.

Woman at the front desk was just okay, not very friendly. The guys at concierge were very friendly and helpful (motivated by tips obviously, lol). We reserved a king size bed and was assured by receptionist at check in thats what we were getting, but when we got in the room, we had dbl queens. Shower was dirty with calcium and water spots built up, and no hot water, just luke warm for both nights we stayed. We dined in the hotel restaurant our first night and although we were the 2nd guests to arrive, no one would take our order even though there were 3 waiters standing around looking at us. After about 15 minutes, they finally took our order, but did not serve our drinks or the chips and salsa for another 15 minutes until we asked if we could at least get the cokes we ordered, as well as our margaritas. Never did get chips and salsa, and meanwhile 4 other tables who came in well after us were served drinks and chips promptly within a few minutes of arriving. After finally complaining, the waiter apologized, saying it was his fault, and he messed up, even though he kept looking at us and walking past us numerous times to help other tables. It took almost a full hour to get a couple of tacos with no drink refills. This was not the Marriott we expected and we will definitely steer people away from this location!!

This spot is very convenient to everything you will need. Staff is very helpful & friendly (thank you Guadalupe at the front desk you made check in lovely & easy) and rooms are as pictured and clean, beds are comfortable. Only thing I would have liked to see was a better selection of authentic Mexican dishes offered on the menu in the restaurant. I would absolutely recommend this hotel & location to others.

deben tener cuidado con el mantenimiento, el baño se mantenĂ­a tapado o con fugas e incluso lo reporte y no vi mejora. De igual manera durante 4 dĂ­as tuve una toalla colgada que nunca se llevaron y es importante cuidar este aspecto. No pospusieron jabones nuevos y en cuanto el clima era ruidoso

Good value hotel. Great free parking.
It was a very nice looking facility with a few drawbacks. The hot tub is cold and maybe not even advertised as an amenity. I couldn't understand why no face cloths at all. They did bring two asap. Biggest issue was a quick shower with coolish water 2 of 3 days. Hot seemed to vary and only one day was it warm enough. Room was very quiet.

The room was clean, the staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast buffet is very good consisting of traditional American and Mexican dishes. We stayed there at the start of our month long vacation and returned at the end of the trip as well. Highly recommended.

Good location but property is pretty run down. I had a terrible nights stay where I could not sleep due to their service room making so much noise I could hear into my room. They offered to let me switch rooms but all other rooms were equally noisy there was no point in moving. Would not stay here again.

This property is located close to a good number of restaurants, and the hotel rooms were alright (at first glance!) .. But when we settled in for the night, we realized that there were bed bugs!! Could not sleep the whole night:-(.. The next day was yet another surprise.. There was no hot water in the bath and we had to manage with cold water instead. And this was not a one day problem but an issue on all the three days we stayed there:-(. I also believe there was black fungus on the ceiling! I just wonder how this property has gotten a 4 star rating..

Hotel is lovely, only downside is walls between rooms are very thin. Also the toilets are hard to flush but I believe this is a local area rather than a hotel issue.

Definately not a 4 star hotel. It is old and smells like dust. There was mold in the shower.

There was no microwave in the room. One was brought to the room without a working turntable, then it completely died. Had to get another one. The minifridge was not cool enough, the food I bought went bad. The bike in the gym is half working. Lots of tile missing in the swimming pool. The thermostat was falling off of the wall and held on by wires only. Won't be staying here again.

El hotel es bueno en razĂłn de el costo, lo malo es que el cuarto que me asignaron tenĂ­a descompuesto el aire acondicionado y tenĂ­a uno mĂłvil (pingĂŒino) y en la noche se callĂł el conducto que arroja el aire caliente y la habitaciĂłn parecĂ­a un sauna.
