'I was in town for a very short period of time, but the Lamp Post Lodge was perfect. Easy access and everything worked flawlessly. The views are reason enough to come back!'

'We came here as a family and stayed for one night. It was the perfect mountain lodge. The room was very clean and comfortable. The pool was warm and even had some toys. We loved the multi-purpose room with cornhole and ping pong. I highly recommend getting pizza at the restaurant in the basement. '

'This place has everything we are looking for in a quiet Colorado vacation in August. During the day we hiked the trails, explored nearby towns, watched the wildlife (deer, pronghorn, birds). In the evenings we either ate in town or cooked in the well equipped kitchen. The night skies are so dark that we could even see the Milky Way. We plan be back again next year.'

'It was good. It was a little bit of pleasure along with Business. The pillows weren't that great and we really had a hard time figuring out how to use the microwave. Also, they do not have an oven when we travel we like to cook as much as we can, and wine glasses would be a plus if they had them, but other than that it was a very nice stay. 'We had an absolutely magical stay for a quiet weekend getaway. The house is remote, the views are breathtaking, the saltwater hottub is hot, and we decided to give cooking a break and the owner, Joyce, made delicious meals for us (Greek lunch - best chicken soup ever; pot roast for dinner; and the absolute best coffee cake we have EVER tasted). 'The hosts were very responsive and accommodating! The location is great for the incline, hiking and the cog train. The town is walking distance too. You get great privacy at this location and it was a quiet retreat . I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to a friend or family. Thanks for a great weeeknd!'
