'Several door knobs came off when simply pulled. The bathroom door was particularly worrisome- that we’d be trapped. Sprinklers in front went in automatically. There’s at least one broken one- flooded the yard'

'We are family friends coming up for Dad's weekend, so we were close to the sororities, campus, and downtown. The house had plenty of parking in the back, a large yard, a clean and spacious house, and lovely amenities. The host was extremely gracious and responsive. We had a wonderful time!'

'Loved this cute bungalow home. Thought it would be noisy as it is on a little bit busy street but it was quiet and cozy inside. We walked to town for great food and drinks- host left great neighborhood details and recommendations. Close also to great bike trails and the college. Super clean and well appointed. Only two small things-couch is not comfy and the house is slanty. Kind of adds to the charm but is a little disorienting. Host was supper accommodating. Great stay overall.'

The microwave didn't work and the fry pans and utensils need replacing. Check in was only given 10 minutes before the start time & we had problems getting to the VRBO site for info using our phones. 'This place is exactly what it promises: available host when needed with a good sense of humor, downtown Chico very close, but the best is the access (behind the house!) to Chico Creek with walk and bike way for miles. Nice neighborhood and nice people all around! We will definitely stay here again when and if we return!'

'This is a cute, nicely renovated, roomy, detached cottage set in the middle of a fruit orchard. It was sparkling clean and very quiet which is just how we like it. We were charmed by the orange trees over the patio and at the front door. Despite the bucolic setting, we found it was just a few minutes drive to downtown Chico to restaurants and stores. The hosts were very responsive to any communication and provided clear instructions for checking in and out.'
