'The one thing that really disappointed me about this place is that their listing on Hotels.com mentions an airport shuttle, but on arrival they tell me to take a taxi, as they 'do not do airport transfers'. As I specifically picked a non-chain hotel that -did- have an airport shuttle, this led to my stay costing USD 80 more than anticipated. The only response from the staff was weak apologies and an offer to call a taxi. After complaining online, the hotel said they might, with advance notice,...

'I have stayed here several times and I am almost never disappointed. The service at the hotel (on all levels) is excellent. Everyone goes out of their way to make sure that every need is met. Our room was very comfortable and the concierge was key to arranging for the hotel car to take us to dinner and get us back to the hotel.'

'I purposely booked this property, instead of a B&B, with adjoining suites so our family could be together and move between rooms. Upon check in I was told they did not have adjoining rooms and they gave us the next best thing. Side by side rooms. This is the whole reason I booked this property. The staff was amazing and the breakfast was delicious, but very disappointed in the being mislead about the adjoining rooms.'

Most business hotels around the downtown area are all variations on the same boring thing design, but ZaZa offers the usual amenities in a much more original way. Nicely furnished rooms (many of them themed) and movie memorabilia make the hotel my favourite place to stay in Dallas '
