Despite being all inclusive, this place loves to upsell you extra charge for amenities that make the stay inconvenient. For example, they take up half the space surrounding the pool for beds that they make you pay a ridiculous amount for, and you can’t find space to lay for free bc space is limited, so people are always waking up early and reserving the free seats, if you’re up to the pool after 10am good luck finding a spot. Our ambassador never talked to us so we missed out on some of the things that were included in our reservation simply because no one told us about. Beach was all rocky with no place to swim in it. If you’re going for the beach don’t stay at this resort.

My Family and I experienced unfair treatment. It is sad to write this review in 2024 and say that we were mistreated because of the color of our skin. The unfair treatment started with French fries. My six-year-old wanted French fries, so we asked the wait staff if we could have fries since we did not see them on the menu; the waitress stated they do not have potatoes/ fries at the resort. Ten minutes later, a European Family sitting next to us - asked and they received. We ensured we tipped well to anyone who assisted us, but our money did not matter. The most disturbing issue was as we were waiting at the booth for our Bali Bed on the beach, my elderly (76years old) mother asked the staff if someone could grab her water because she felt faintish from walking a long distance through the sand and hot temperatures to get to the booking desk. The beach staff, Diana, Omar, and Sonya completely ignored my mother’s gentle request. Therefore, I asked a younger staff member not doing anything if he could grab my mother water while we completed the traction for the beach bed. The young man by the name of Omar stated that it was not his job and he was not a waiter. As he made the statement; he began to walk off. So, to him, my elderly mother meant nothing to him as she was bent over from exhaustion from walking through the sand. I spoke to Diana who said she was Omar’s supervisor. Diana stated she would speak with him. However, she left and no one got any water. Food drinks gross!

When guests check in, it's crucial for there team to provide clear guidance on restaurant reservations. While the Italian restaurant requires prior booking, other areas may have distinct policies. Certain sections are reserved exclusively for hotel club members, necessitating advanced arrangements. However, the buffet welcomes all on a first-come, first-served basis. This transparency ensures a smooth dining experience, eliminating any uncertainty or inconvenience for valued patrons. Who might want to come back!!!!

The kids enjoyed seeing the monkeys on the property and walking the bridge in the jungle. Restaurants were difficult to get into and the pullout Sofia bed mattress wasn’t very good. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The staff did an excellent job as well.

I did not get the room I was promised, and I was 15 mins away from the group of friends that I booked the trip with. The toilet quit working every morning and had to be reset by maintenance, the air conditioning was no working well.

From the minute of getting out of the taxi, the friendly staff are busy taking care of you. Large property with activities scheduled throughout the day and night. Plenty of different food options at multiple restaurants. Clean rooms and outdoor spaces. The icing on the cake was the staff. Friendly, knowledgeable, amd always going above and beyond to make your stay the best. Highly recommend!

The property is very pretty. The staff was super friendly. The only drawback was that it was difficult to get into the resturants (vs. the buffet) as they do not take reservations (except the italian place which was very good). So they give you a pager when you sign in and you wait. One night we waited 2 1/2 hours. We found out that residence owners go ahead of everyone else.

The property is beautiful and staff are great. The restaurants are small and don’t take reservations. Dinner every night was chaotic. The infinity pool was the most active but seating there was limited. They have put Bibb Eads everywhere in charge you an absorbent fee to be able to use them. So seating at the main pool is extremely limited and a real pain to get they charged you money for ice cream and special coffees instead of having it as part of the all inclusive. They just nickel and dime you wherever they could. I would not go back.

It's a relatively large resort. It could have been the specific week, but it was crowded. Lineups to get food. Could never get into a restaurant. Do not go there as a solo traveller unless you like torture. Very loud, all families with young kids. You'll fee isolated. The gym was great.

The property was very clean and eco friendly- our villa was off to the beaten path with natural forest settings and local wildlife to catch glimpses of. Kendy, our butler at the pool cabana, was super nice and made excellent recommendations on drink requests for the adults and children alike. Our suite was very large and felt like my husband and I had our own space in the evenings while our kids relaxed and watched tv from the sofa bed in living room. The food options are plenty- definitely recommend going early to place your name on wait list for the non buffet restaurants. Beach side was the place to be for lunch options- burgers were the best! We had tons of fun with the kids at pool and beach side - didn’t get a chance to go to the kids activities but we do plan on coming back next year.

An average resort for the Playa area. Nothing remarkably good or bad about it. Food is mediocre at the buffets. The Japanese and Mexican specialty ones were the best. The best part of the resort is the entertainment team who are really fun. My kids loved Julian. The Michael Jackson show was the highlight of the night entertainment. Kids club is suitable for preschoolers but not older. One thing to watch out for is a lot of things are NOT included like the only ice cream shop, the only pool bar without a long line, and lots of the seating areas around the pool and beach. Overall, clean resort, well kept, best suited to teens and adults not looking for a lot of frills.

I hated that reservations were REQUIRED in order to dine. Almost everyday we were there dinner times were booked until at least 930pm. There was always the buffet as an option but as the worst dining outlet there, we choose to dine offsite. I would have stayed at a non All Inclusive Hotel had I known that dining options were so limited.
