'My friend and I were biking the GAP-C&O trail from PIT to DC and stayed here just one night on 10/15/24. Rachel was very helpful in directions to the house. She also dropped off laundry detergent so we could do a wash. The house was very clean with nice accommodations, including freshly baked cookies! Would highly recommend. If you are biking from the trail, note that the road to the house is busy with traffic and speed limit 50 mi/hr. Also, there's only one restaurant in town, the School...

Nice hot tub, dock and kayaks. Fun game table and some arcade games if children come along. Enjoyable evening by the fire pit with s'mores! Easy to find, easy to book, responsive owners.'

'This house is very homey and welcoming. We enjoyed a ride on the Potomac Eagle Railway and the location of the home was perfect, just a short drive away. The house was spacious and very homey. We especially enjoyed the fresh produce from the garden left by the owners.'

'My friend and I enjoyed a nice girls weekend here. The house was really clean, organized, and cozy. Very nicely decorated. Snacks were a nice touch. The property is lovely. The view from the back porch is one you don’t see often. The property is so lovely and well cared for. Easy access to lovely walking paths. We were glad that there were no campers on the property while we were there. Would stay here again. '

'We had a full house for the weekend and still had plenty of room to move around. The layout was absolutely perfect for us, a mix of family and friends. Location was great! Close to Wisp, food options, market. Also not in a heavily trafficked part of the lake, we were able to jump off the dock to swim, paddle board and kayak out. Will definitely book again!'

'The home is spacious and lovely with lots to do - pool table, hot tub, fire pit, multiple grills, and a dock for a boat rental. Furniture was very comfortable, including all the marvelous seating on the upper and lower decks - lovely areas to enjoy the great outdoors with a cup of coffee, a game or two, or a meal. Only two thoughts for improvement: 1) a couple of the mattresses need to be replaced and 2) it would have been useful to have some info on how the TVs work and how to find live TV...

The home we had to move to was also beautiful but not the location we were looking for.
