One major plus was it had 2/3 steps to get into house and downstairs bedrooms for family members who had difficulty with stairs....

'My wife and I had a wonderful time staying here. The house is cozy and "away from it all," yet not too far from hiking or even small towns. The amenities were what we needed, and being able to walk up and around the property was a nice bonus, too. We did not open a laptop once, which tells you how relaxed and unplugged we were. The owners were also very quick to answer questions through VRBO, and we had a splendid weekend stay.'

Oh my, the house, it is picturesque, it should be featured in a magazine. It is the cleanest vacation rental house we have stayed in. A big plus, just a short drive to Watauga lake.
