'My husband, son, daughter in law, niece and her husband had a 3 day fishing trip planned nearby. I suggested this place rather than a hotel so the family would be more comfortable and be able to visit during non-fishing time (something separate hotel rooms just doesn't accommodate). The house was absolutely PERFECT for their trip. Bonita was very communicative (giving very detailed directions as well) and was kind enough to give them an extended check out time when I messed up the reservation...

'This is a beautiful farmhouse in a peaceful setting. The house was spotless and very well kept. I was impressed! Had plenty of supplies for cooking but we ate out mostly, as it is very close to the town of Sparta. We saw deer every evening from the front door. Early one morning we saw deer right in the yard.'

'My wife and I had a wonderful time staying here. The house is cozy and "away from it all," yet not too far from hiking or even small towns. The amenities were what we needed, and being able to walk up and around the property was a nice bonus, too. We did not open a laptop once, which tells you how relaxed and unplugged we were. The owners were also very quick to answer questions through VRBO, and we had a splendid weekend stay.'

'The property is so beautiful. We walked the trails several times a day. Our dogs had a great vacation. They loved the freedom of the place. We heard the flying squirrels and were lucky enough to have one float past the window. Nearby we enjoyed the Grayson Highlands State Park. We did a short hike and got to see some wild ponies. The home is beautifully decorated and you can tell the owner wants you to have a great experience.'

'The cabin was a great place to stay while adventuring in Grayson Highlands State Park and riding down the Virginia Creeper bike trail. The setting is peaceful and we enjoyed watching deer and wild turkeys while sitting on the back deck. The cabin was clean and as described. We took the recommendations of the owner and bought basic groceries and had dinner in Lansing. We would recommend this cabin to friends and hope to return in the future!'
