'Perfect stay. Location is ideal, walking distance to Akumal or to Yal-Ku, very near a couple of good restaurants. Beach is quiet with easy snorkel access. Third-floor is very nice and private, we rarely heard any other tenants. View is spectacular. We spent a lot of time on the balcony taking in the view. 'Akumal is a special town that I have visited for over 25 years. This was my first time staying at LaSerina. Such a lovely location. The courtyard gardens are full of beautiful tropical plants, and is beautifully maintained. There is a large lovely pool in the center of this courtyard. The condo was decorated in traditional Mexican decor with lots of nice personal touches. The staff were amazing. Would definitely stay here again.'

There were many disappointments and on their own it would not have been enough for us to seek another location but when we discovered the pool was closed we informed the owner of our disappointment and our intent to leave. 'Very comfortable, great outdoor patio for morning coffee and dining and hanging out with awesome sunrises and ocean views. The pool and beach were steps away. Joan was very helpful in providing for our needs. There is 1 great little restaraunt a short walk but I would suggest having access to a car for groceries or other shopping or restaraunts or using a taxi service.'

'Our stay in Akumal was just amazing. The property was above expectations and the service and communication before as well as during was top level. We utilized all amenities (BBQ, pool, rooftop yoga etc) and I strongly recommend renting this play if you are looking for that extra experience!!'
