Thank you Expedia and The Grand to upgrade my room. The room comes with large bedroom, large dining room and living room. It was so much relax and I’m enjoy so much on my vocation with my family. The food is amazing on each restaurant that I tried. All the services are excellent. Will come back.

staff stinks, rooms and hotel is poorly maintained. the only redeeming character is their food. I feel bad for people who fall for their VIP, as there is nothing VIP about it. Rooms and patio have paint dripping everywhere. And you will most likely told that racoons are friend here in mexico when you confront one in the hallway eating leftovers that were not cleaned.

We stayed here during our family reunion of 20 people. Overall, the resort was good and there was a lot to do for the kids. I expected the service to be a little better but it was mediocre. I did have to call room service to have our room re-cleaned when we arrived as there were a few dead bugs and a lot of dust hanging around. I found the lobby to be well maintained but maybe the actual rooms are just a bit outdated.

I liked this property very much! We had shuttles going from all three hotels which was very convenient. The only extreme downside to this property, was the two double beds feature! I read reviews prior to choosing this property and people complaining about this feature as well, we knew when we booked, however staying 12 nights, this did not make this the best experience ever. Having two young children, we both had to bunk with them and they both took over our beds! Other than the bed experience, this hotel is top notch.

The property was beautiful, the rooms were nice and spacious and there were a variety of food options. The negative would be as soon as we got there and checked in they wanted to sell us a time share and continued asking for a few days. Then at checkout you get someone trying to sell you something else. We don’t want to fly all day and then get bombarded with all of that.

it is a massive resort with tons of quality restaurants and a huge water park that keep you and your kids busy for the whole day! food quality and verity is high! you don't get bored at the resort at all and you can enjoy its well-equipped gym and massive SPA! the only complain is about the room cleanness and lack of punctuality in service.

Stayed at Moon Palace the Grand in April 2024 with my mom and 2 kids (6&17) and it was the best. There is plenty to do for everyone. From the playroom, water park, bowling alley, speakeasy (adults only) this place is great. The golf carts that take you throughout the resort runs until 3 am which is great because the resort is huge. Oh and you have access to the sister resorts but the sister resorts have to pay to visit the grand. Just book the grand and see for yourself

Moon Palace - The Grand was amazing!! They made our experience very special with room upgrade and Cecilia to help us with anything that we needed it. She was very fast at responding and arranged all of our check out. Activity pool staff Alicia, Bryan, Andre Julio and Jimena they all did a great job getting us to participate in activities. Alicia even remember to give a prize to my daughter for a the Ping Pong tournament a day later since we did not attend the theater that night. Food is great, nothing to complain! We highly recommend this hotel.

The property is beautiful. Your meal options are very limited. You will NOT get reservations to a speciality restaurant unless you want to eat at 10pm. 3 out of 3 of us that travel got food poisoning. I believe it’s from food just sitting out to long in the buffet. My mother’s purse got stolen while they held our luggage until the room was ready. Although the resort was beautiful
we will not be returning.

El hotel tiene muchas actividades donde los niños se puedan divertir, sin embargo el check in fue muy lento, tratan de venderte membresía, y la comida no era tan buena como imaginaba, aparte que tenias que hacer cola para entrar o reservar en restaurante y tardaba muchisimo

There were tons of dining options... but that comes with caveat. All the top restaurants that require reservation were all reserved by the end of first day. Next time, first thing to do should be to reserve restaurants first. Staff... where do I start with this? Front desk was very good in getting what we needed. Problem started with very aggressive "Marketing" folks who tried to intimidate us into 90 minute "Marketing lunch. They were persistent and essentially caused our vacation to start in wrong footing. I get that they are trying to push their "elite" club and other time share... but there is time and place for those, certainly not when we had just checked in!

Pros: Property has a lot of pools and things to do for kids. App is nice to order room service and make reservations. Large rooms. Cons: Food is below avg even at their ‘nice’ restaurants, drinks are below avg and bottom shelf. Even when rooms get cleaned, there’s no attention to detail ie may not provide soap, enough towels. Old food outside of room takes over a day to pick up. Full-sized beds, so sleep was terrible. I have actually stayed at another Palace resorts property ‘Le Blanc’ and had a great experience and would still go back, but this property is below avg for the price.

Top notch... Greeted us steps away from airport shuttle with a flower for my wife and daughter. We all received a cold wash cloth too. CLASSY but still family friendly. Expedia VIP... got us a free upgrade.. family suite. Thanks EXPEDIA. Best Mexico hotel by far. really not much difference with prices of other hotels. Speakeasy bar is just plain cool.

Overpriced for a standard all-inclusive experience. Have to wait for shuttles/trams to get around the property. A/C, phone didn't work in room. Mosquitoes in room. Reservation system for dining is very limiting. Have to wait in lines for breakfast. Food service at pool is very slow (1 hr wait) and doesn't open early enough, so kids are very hungry. Stairwells and halls leading to rooms are very dirty and were not cleaned the entirety of our stay. Waterpark is essentially what you have at great wolf lodge, but outdoors. Cannot book spa appointments through app. Credit system is confusing. So much is at an extra cost and not truly all-inclusive. Called ahead of trip to get clarifications, and when we arrived, they backtracked on everything. Bait and switch.
