Slice of heaven
This is such a lovely home. Everything you need to feel comfortable, very clean. The views from the top palapa are gorgeous. The whole property is just beautiful. Added bonus: there’s laundry! Nice to be able to go home with clean clothes. La Cruz itself is such a sweet little town. The folks are very kind. Playa manzanilla is an awesome beach to spend some time at.

Great retreat in La Cruz
The property was just as it is online. Communicating with the host was easy. I felt safe with my car behind the fence. It got a little too hot to use the outdoor spaces for me but having coffee on the hammock each morning was great. I would rent this again!

A wonderful place to be!
Such a beautiful home! Such beautiful views! We were absolutely spoiled with the gigantic walk in shower! LOL! The hill up to the house is a bit of a challenge as we would walk down every day to go into La Cruz or to the beach etc. However it only helped to burn off the calories from all the great food we enjoyed! No problem getting anywhere as there are buses, taxis, or uber always available. Great communication with our hosts and ready to answer any questions. Thank you Ada and Aaron for sharing your home with us! We will definitely come back again!! John and Gwen

Beautiful location, beautiful home
We had a great stay. We only stayed one night. Wish we stayed longer. The home was tastefully decorated and very inviting. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms/showers were big and beautiful. The outdoor shower was really cool. I would definitely rent this again. The grounds were gorgeous and very relaxing... loved the spiral staircase and the views were magnificent. Ada was awesome to work with. Rent this home, you won't regret it!!!

Beautiful views and great location
Living in a neighborhood on the hill above town and not in "condo land" was just lovely, and the views are truly spectacular. We saw whales with our binoculars and could walk everywhere in 20 min or less, and we didn't mind the steep walk up the hill at all (working off tacos!). What keeps us from giving 5 stars is that the house, furnishings, linens, etc. could use some updating or fixing, and a good deep cleaning (sinks, toilets, kitchen were clean and sanitary). These things didn't keep us from enjoying the views, location, and beautiful plantings and gardens which are the 5-star attractions. We highly recommend staying here!

Amazing Place, Wonderful Hosts
This property was even nicer than described!! The lawns, gardens and structures were amazing. The communication with the hosts throughout our stay was top notch and easy. House manager was always available and responded immediately to any needs. I will definitely return to this paradise!

Perfect for a Couple
This place is perfect for a couple. It is also perfect if you prefer to be away from the crowd, ie, big condo vibe. Views are great and the "Crows Nest" level is perfect for lazy naps. The ground level bedroom where our son stayed is dark and not great to hang out in. Fortunately, he was out all day the whole week in a sailing clinic with the International Sailing Academy and was the purpose of the trip.

Unbelievable
This house on the hilltop of a quant fishing village is beautiful. Way more than we imagined it would be. Big beds. Big kitchen. Big decks. When we arrived we just looked at each other like”is this place ours”? We were very comfortable with all the amenities of home waking up to coffee under the palapa rooftop deck. Their is a fully equipped kitchen if your up for cooking. We made toast;) Monica cleaned during our stay and resupplied the pitcher of the best fresh OJ we’ve ever had. Its the little things. Great price. Superb lodging. Breathtaking views make this the best VRBO we have had. Thanks to the owners for sharing their lovely home. We will return.

Tropical Oasis
We really enjoyed our stay in this home. We ate our meals at a beautiful table on the open-air top floor. We read books in the awesome hammock and on the porch, and awoke to the most beautiful view of the water and mountains beyond out the large windows on the main floor. The kitchen was well-stocked, but a barbecue grill would be a nice addition. The lower floor contained a second bedroom and laundry, with a bathroom open to the outside. Showers there were lovely! We walked to several restaurants in La Cruz, including La Peska, Black Forest and the Tree House, which contains the most stunning tree at the bar. Mostly we stayed in and enjoyed this beautiful home. It had a very comfortable large sofa with a large smart tv, and another large tv in the lower bedroom. The owners responded to all inquiries quickly. Highly recommend!

Amazing view of the area, the rooftop deck was quite fun. Other things of note were that the locks/keys were difficult to work and the only staircase was outside. Otherwise, exactly as pictured and great!

Wale watching from the rooftop!
Our stay was during the week of March 14th-21st, 2020. There was a lot going on in the world with the threat of the Coronavirus Pandemic. This made for a stressful stay and whether we would get back to Canada as flights were being canceled daily. Despite all this, we enjoyed Ada and Aaron's home tremendously. The view of the Bay both from the rooftop and second floor balcony is spectacular. We were lucky to pack a set binoculars and watch humpback wales as they breached while feeding in the Bay in the afternoons. The sight of this was simply amazing. The patio furniture on both levels is very comfortable as was the hammock. The kitchen is very well equipped. The finishes in the home are of superior quality. The bed used was very comfortable. At first the spiral staircase was a little tricky to navigate however by mid week we had it mastered. Communication with Ada always prompt with replies to any questions and the on site contact person Monica was a pleasure to deal with. She was in several times during our stay to clean and help with any issues we may have had. We also had the pleasure of meeting her granddaughter who helped make fresh orange juice on these visits. We were very impressed with Ada and Aaron's home and do intend on returning. Hopefully the Pandemic subsides soon so the world can return to normal and we can plan our next stay. Excellent value for money and very comfortable
We greatly enjoyed the visit and even though two of our guests were mobility challenged the stairs were not a big issue just call for care. We remained dry during a torrential day on January 1. The gate for the car is a bit tricky but works. The photos on the website are accurate though we would have liked a barbecue. The view from the top floor is spectacular and the table and chairs are all comfortable. We asked for light bulb replacement in one bathroom and the matter was promptly attended to though could not be completely resolved as the fixture needed replacement. The kitchen faucet similarly needs replacement though was usable. Monica prepared fresh orange juice for us twice which was wonderful. Overall memorable and we highly recommend . Ada was extremely responsive to all my queries. Many thanks for letting us use your home!!!

Beautiful, Quiet Location
I love the view and location. I stayed for a month with my pets and my dog loved all the neighbor dogs. This is a beautiful two story home, with an open floor plan on the 2nd floor and another bedroom and full bath on the first floor. The stairs are a beautiful outside spiral staircase. This is an easy 20 minute walk to the marina, uphill on the way back but everything is a hill around here so you get used to it! Staying here for a month made me want to find a long term place to live in La Cruz. It's a beautiful town with a wonderful mix of people, cultures, food, all you need. And the best ceviche place is at the bottom of the hill along the main road to the left!

Excellent house in a great town.
We have stayed in many houses and condos in Mexico but this has been the best so far. Ada and Aaron have provided all you could want in a rental property. It has excellent views of the bay and we had all the facilities we required for our 3 week stay. We have a golden doodle dog and she loved the property. A large yard allowed her to play in a secure place and we loved both the house and the town. The description of the house made it easy for us to know what we were getting and it was even better than we expected. It was so good that we have booked for 1 month next year. We would highly recommend this excellently maintained property in this lovely location.

Beautiful villa with amazing views
This villa was everything the pictures showed it to be. It was wonderful to wake up to an amazing ocean view and sunrise and then sit and enjoy coffee on the balcony. The evening view was just as great with the lights shining over the water. The villa was clean and well maintained and was stocked with all the essentials including drinking water. Both showers were huge with lots of storage for toiletries. Stores and restaurants were just a short distance away. The hill was a bit of a steep walk, but we just took it slowly and then treated ourselves to a drink when we got in ! My husband and I loved the villa and La Cruz. Great Spot In Great Town
Overall, our visit was incredible. The house is on-top of a hill, which is pretty steep (issue for cabs in hard rain), but incredibly beautiful. There were a couple of issues, like the dog next door not shutting up or problems getting hot water, but the rest of the place makes up for it enough to warrant a full 5-star rating. Any issues we had were quickly responded to by the owners, who will do everything in their power to fix any issue you experience during their stay. If it wasn't for my girlfriend wishing to experience other places, I would likely book this place for all of my vacations.

Amazing place with a great view of the ocean. 5 minutes from Bucerias and 20 minutes from Sayulita.

Sweeping view of La Cruz
Perched up on the hillside overlooking La Cruz and the lights of Bucerias at night, this inviting home is a treat to relax at. We enjoyed the upper deck where there is a comfortable hammock. You can hear the rustle of the palm trees as the breeze goes through. The layout is well considered and pleasurably open concept. The stairs between levels are lovely spiral with iron railings, we loved them! They do require ease of mobility to navigate. Overall, lovely and private along with great kitchen for cooking in.

Worked perfectly for us!
The property is as described and depicted in the photos. Very nice! We didn't realize La Cruz was quite as far from Puerto Vallarta as it is, but that turned out to be a good thing as we rented a car and did day trips north to Islas Marietas, Sayulita, and San Francisco, east to San Sebastian, as well as several days spent in the Old Town and south to Boca de Tomatlan. There are beautiful beaches all up the coast! We'd come back to La Cruz for dinner, given there are at least ten good restaurants, and spend the evenings enjoying the house! The Sunday market down by the marina is primo! We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it!

This beauteful building was all it is said to be.. the kitchen is modern and beds and bath clean
The location is just above La Cruz overlooking the Marina and Bey of Bandares. Shoppping, Whale watching, or just enjoying a beauteful Mexican village are only a few perks. Resturants and entertainment are at your feet. Bus or Taxi trips south to Puerto Valarta are quick and cheap.' enjoy Gary

Great Value and Great View
This house worked perfectly for us. We live on a boat in Mexico and stayed here for 4 days while our boat was having some work done in the La Cruz Marina. If you have been to Mexico and understand the funkiness that makes Mexico and particularly La Cruz wonderful than you will like this place. There is much about this house that is better than the price would indicate. Great finishes in the house - specifically the bathrooms and kitchen. For the price you would not think you would get a house this nice. There are some interesting things about the house that other reviewers have mentioned. I would recommend this to anyone that is looking for that fun and interesting La Cruz experience.

Great Experience! Loved it!!
Better than a hotel! This was our first time using VRBO so we were a little nervous, but it worked out wonderfully. The home was truly lovely, clean and nicer than we expected. The view was just beautiful, especially from the open top level. Lots of tropical plants made it really feel like a vacation hide away. The main living studio area set up was open and very nice. Tropical view of the bay from the bed, couch, and even the kitchen. Granite countertops and tile floors really gave it a high end feel. We enjoyed relaxing and having drinks in the evening on the main level balcony. Margarita’s are great anytime, but are even better with a sunset and warm breeze! Washer and dryer came in handy and lower level indoor / outdoor shower was really nice. We walked all the way to the marina in LaCruz and enjoyed a nice meal in the restaurant with a view of the boats and the bay. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property, and we’re hoping to visit again!

REALLY nice place with great view!!
This is a really great place! Nice finishes with a very tropical feel. I especially loved the top level palapa. Lots of open space with a great view and tropical planters. Resting in the hammock was great. I even saw some whales splashing out in the bay! Kitchen on main floor was clean, large and very nice with lots of granite counter space and nice appliances. The couch and bed were nice and very comfortable. It was also great to have use of the washer & dryer. One of my favorite parts was the large semi enclosed outdoor shower on the lower level. Like the rest of the house, it had nice finishes and a tropical view. I had a super relaxing stay, and I really felt like I was on a nice vacation. I didn’t have a car, but it was just a short 5 minute walk down the hill to catch a bus or taxi. Another 3 minutes walk and I was in the middle of LaCruz with acces to the shops, restaurants, and my morning favorite, fresh squeezed Orange Juice! The spiral staircases we’re nice, but might be a concern if you have mobility issues. Other than that, this is an awesome place! I definitely plan to book it again!!
