'Beautiful property needs an update. Room clean but not spotless. Some surfaces were dusty.'

'Smells everywhere. Room and linens (pillow) smell like BO and sweat in two rooms. Hallway smells like weed. Horrible wet powder eggs breakfast. Staff was nice but need to be more proactive when they are not sitting around eating in lobby which they seemed to constantly be doing'

'What a gem! A joy to stay in an inn run by people, not a corporation. Room just funky enough to be interesting, with thoughtful restoration and modern upgrades. Fast internet AND a book of Poe's works in our room. Walking distance from everything we needed. We will definitely stay here again next time we're in Richmond!'

'Room was well maintained. Friendly staff (Alfredo) in the breakfast area which was also very clean. Some carpeting could be replaced but generally speaking, my stay was a pleasant experience.'

'Het positive aan dit hotel is dat het aan de overkant van de straat ligt van pretpark Kings Dominion. Verder was het een wat kleine kamer. De kamer was vies en er hing een vreemde geur in het hotel. Met vies bedoel ik dat de oude contactlenzen van de vorige gast nog op de vloer lagen. Ook vonden we oude bier dopjes en zaten er vlekken op de vloer. Daarnaast waren de kamers erg gehorig en konden zowel de mensen naast ons als boven ons horen. '

'Necesitan renovar el hotel está viejo y en mi abitacion encontramos una cucaracha la piscina estaba cerrada me iba a quedar por 3 noches pero por esos inconvenientes me tuve que ir de ese hotel el colchón del sofá cama estaba muy sucio y viejo'

'AC leaked water all over the floor, it worked well and staff told me it would be fixed the next day so I didn't switch rooms, of course it wasn't, i don't imagine they have a plan to fix it because the size of the hole in the AC unit where the water rusted the grate apart was about 6 inches wide so they gave me a bucket and extra towels. The pool was great, very well kept, playground was well kept, only things I would change is maybe the hotel could pick up the mountains of trash in the hallways...
