'The windward side of the island is the way to go. There is still plenty to do and see. The beach is awesome and being a private beach is a big plus. You are guaranteed to see turtles on the beach. Best time is 1 to 2 hours after the sun goes down. '

'Host responded quickly to all questions. 10 min drive to Turtle Bay, where we attended a wedding and events. The beach at Turtle Bay is open to the public, which we found very desirable on windy days. Public parking with good signage and lots of available parking spaces'

'The bathrooms were kept very clean and the yurt was spacious and clean. It rained the entire time that we were there and nothing got into our yurt we stayed very dry. No bugs either! Check in was a breeze. '

'We did a girl's trip to Hawaii and stayed here. It's a very nice cozy place to stay. We didn't require a lot as we didn't plan on staying in our "hotel" much so this was perfect. We thought the bed was very comfy & plenty of room for 2 friends. The location was great and beaches were very close by. Vanessa and her family were very nice and we enjoyed staying here and getting to know the area.'

'This was a lovely and updated 2 bedroom, 1 bath unit with a peaceful view of the golf course. Much more affordable than staying at the Ritz Carlton Turtle Bay resort, which is within close walking distance. Very much appreciated that there was laundry in the unit. Good communication with owners and check-in and out was easy.'

'The location is fantastic. The condo has a great view of the ocean. And fairly roomy. Perfect for the two of us. You can hear the ocean lapping and sometimes roaring providing the relaxing ambience that we need after a few days in Waikiki. It is next to highway 83 and thus the front bedroom can be noisy. 'We were glad to find this 1 bedroom, 2 bath unit that was much less pricey than the Ritz Carlton Turtle Bay resort, but still within walking distance of the restaurant and resort facilities. The kitchen was well-stocked with cooking items and grocery stores are close by. There is a nice lanai with seating and boogie boards/equipment and a view of the golf course.
