"De kamer was netjes.Het Personeel erg behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Koelkastje op de kamer. Dicht bij de metro. In een halfuurtje sta je in Washington bij allerlei bezienswaardigheden. Het hotel werd grondig gerenoveerd. Bij binnenkomst kwam je direct op een bouwplaats terecht. Stoffig en geen fijne ambiance. Dit was ons niet medegedeeld door de reisorganisatie. We hadden dit hotel anders nooit geboekt. "

"Big and comfortable beds. Limited breakfast options. No buffet, but vouchers. Modern rooms. Finishing in bathrooms could be better. Good location."

"Keurig netjes hotel. Jammer dat de winkels die er eerder waren allemaal leeg stonden. "

"Kamer was erg vies. Erg veel omgevingsgeluiden en mensen die op het terrein rondhangen. Lijkt soms net alsof ze voor je deur staan praten. Staan ook constant aan de reling te kijken wat je aan het doen bent, geeft geen fijn gevoel. Centrum is goed te fietsen, handig dat Target dichtbij is. "

"A nice hotel in a good neighborhood with small rooms. The location of the hotel is good and the breakfast and coffee is good. The lounge downstairs is nice. There is an iron lounge in the top floor for business purposes. The overall cleanness was a little bit disappointment. I found hairs on multiple locations in my room. Also the alarm went off at the middle of the night, which was the co2/smoke alarm. The staff “investigated” the alarm after 3 reminders the next day with the result nothing is wrong, because that was what the manager said. I am sorry but if an alarm as such goes of it has to do something with safety and not an opinion. No investigation was done and no apologies were made. "

"This was absolutely amazing! I am a solo traveler and was in D.C for 7 days, 5 of which I had spent in a hostel nearby. I didn’t my best in that hostel, so I left and decided to book my last night in DC at the Generator in a shared dorm room (they have shared, and private rooms). Right from the moment I entered the lobby, it was great. The atmosphere was great, the personnel (and guests) were so nice, and I felt immediately at home. I solo travel a lot but did not have th experience I had hoped for at my first hostel, and the Generator really turned my trip around for the better! Forever grateful. Keep it up!"

"Quiet rooms in a nice area"

"Restaurant and bar where closed due to refurbishment. First room had a terrible smell in it. After request, the reception immediately allocated a better room (smell) . However very loud neighbours the first night (Saturday) and the general condition of the room was poor and close to shabby with damaged curtains and a broken refrigerator door."
