'This is a very unique hotel in the area of Puerto Aventuras, an area that is otherwise quite dominated by big chain resort hotels. The staff are exceptionally friendly and makes you feel like you're part of a family rather than 'just another tourist'. Breakfasts are amazing! Rooms were clean and comfortable, great design of the hotel inside and outside. You can also use their bicycles which is a fun way to go around the town.'

'We had a great time at VR Tulum. The staff and food was great. We also got to see Turtles lay eggs 2 of the nights that we were there right on the beach outside of our door. My family and I had a great time!'

'Nice resort. Small. Only four restaurants so if you are there for many nights you may get bored with the cuisine. Good was good except for the steak house. After a good rain the rooms smell musty and like sewer. We stayed in the closest building to the pool. Easy walk to the pool and beach. The beach was nice. We went during seaweed season so there was a lot of seaweed daily on the beach. The staff worked night and day to try to clear it. The staff was exceptional. Kind, friendly and helpful....

'The Hotel is located in Jaguar park. It’s close to the Archaeological ruins, and Tulum’s downtown. I recommend to rent a car. Be aware of Guardia Nacional. Every time you drive through the entrance point, they will ask evidence of your hotel. And they can be annoying. They can deny the entrance to your hotel. Also, because it’s a park you are to supposed to pay daily entrance. But in the hotel they are very helpful with this matter. It’s preferable to visit in times when there is no sargazo (...

'De villas liggen rustig en direct aan een privé strand. De auto staat veilig en bewaakt op het terrein. De villas zijn volledig ingericht en van alle comfort voorzien. Ook de 2 zwembaden zijn fijn waarvan 1 voor kleine kinderen. We hebben genoten.'

'Wij verbleven een week in dit hotel met een gezin met twee kinderen. We zaten in blok 4, redelijk recent gerestaureerd. Wel wat verschil tussen de kamers, wij kregen geen slippers, de kinderen wel. Wij kregen meer water, de kinderen minder. We hebben regelmatig gevraagd voor extra handdoeken want de kamer was vochtig dus niets werd droog. 'More comfortable beds. Place was great clean, nice neighborhood quiet. Wonderful area love all the convenience of the place in PA . But definitely needs comfortable mattresses. Loved the host. '
