Wij hebben een fijn verblijf gehad. De kamer was mooi, ruim. De medewerkers, zoals Diana, waren vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De locatie ligt buiten het centrum (ongeveer 15 minuten lopen).

Dichtbij strand, heel aardig personeel
Goed ontvangen bij aankomst. We waren wat vroeg dus konden de kamer nog niet in. We konden echter wel inchecken en konden onze spullen achterlaten en gebruik maken van de badkamer om te kunnen omkleden. Goede tips gekregen van de dame bij de receptie over bezienswaardigheden en dit hotel was heerlijk dichtbij het strand. De ontbijtjes waren ook heerlijk en absoluut niet duur. Als ik weer naar Holbox ga, ga ik zeker terug!

From the moment we checked in, it was pretty chaotic, the girl was nice but the guy gave us attitude. The room had a nice view from the shared balcony, but the room itself was terrible. I don't usually leave reviews, and me and my partner are pretty chill people but we are so frustrated. As soon as you walk into the room the humidity is overwhelming (we stayed in another cheap hotel where this wasn't a problem) to the point where all our clothes felt constantly wet and started to smell funky. The towels they provide had a bad smell as well. The shower had literal full grown mushrooms growing in it, one of them, nearly ten centimeters long eventually fell off and onto the dark shower floor. The water barely comes out and had a trickle of hot water only once I think. The King size bed consist of two flimsy, uncomfortable pillows and the absolute worst part is we got BED BUGS. Now we have spend the day sanitizing all of our belongings. One of the worst rooms I ever stayed in, completely unacceptable. Such a prime location and so much potential I don't know how one can blow it so hard.

The rooms and the lobby are not in the same building, but are across the street from each other. The room was spacious and clean, but the main thing that I loved was the lobby and dining area. Both have dirt floors (really more like sand due to the proximity of the beach) and are very relaxing and beautiful. Some of the best coffee I've ever had was served in the morning, with fresh fruit juices and delicious breakfast plates. The entire place feels welcoming with huge dream catchers. The owner's son was helpful and friendly.

Charmigt enkelt hotell på stranden med trevlig personal. Rum med enkel standard dock ingen AC och fanns bara en stol på balkongen trots att detta var ett dubbelrum. Bra frukost med egenodlade kryddor från deras trädgård.

Lamentamos que tu experiencia en la casa no cumpliera 100% con tus expectativas, sin embargo, nos sorprende mucho tu comentario sobre que no hay botes de basura, puesto que en todas las áreas comunes hay botes (orgánico/inorgánico) y en recepción contamos con un sistema de reciclado (PET, aluminio, vidrio, papel) y, además, contamos con un programa de buenas prácticas ambientales en el que incluimos la separación de residuos. Acerca del Wifi, es un problema de infraestructura general de la isla, así como el de la señal telefónica, no podemos hacer mucho al respecto. Esperamos en tu próxima visita nos des la oportunidad de mostrarte nuestras mejoras, hasta pronto!

Mosquitoes were everywhere. The mosquito netting had holes and not adequate Mosquitoes were coming in and under the doors The hotel did not have any mosquito repellent so take a lot of repellent. We found far superior hotels in the area As there are many ponds with water on the roads etc. the mosquitoes are thriving. We were told by hotel staff, that due to increased construction for accommodation that the ground is saturated for the septic fields. And because of this, there are obvious sewage smells in some of these low ground pools on the roads as the taxis drive through them 3 times at the hotel there were mistakes on my billing. I strongly recommend getting a receipt for any payments including breakfast or any meals or any billing from the hotel. Also take note, that most stores downtown do not have any prices on goods and trying to charge more at the cashier was a common occurrence

Calm at night and the mornings!
Nice staff. Very quiet hotel - although there is a bar that plays music the whole day. Some buildings are very close to the beach. The beach in that area is empty. The walk on the beach at night is just wonderful. It is about 15 minutes walk to downtown. The walk is super nice (unless the mosquitoes decides to join you). At night you can walk on the beach and see the stars. I hope they had a kitchen because restaurants are far away. It may be because they want to make money from breakfasts, but perhaps they can at least open it later in the day. ... also, thanks for the free coffee! :) Last - you should note that this is an island that is not very well developed. Don't expect the hotels to provide you more than what they can. This is why you may have some problems during your stay with the electricity, AC, etc ... but this is not a major problem. I am sure the other hotels have similar problems.

Esta excelente el hotel. Muy limpio. Con una tematica increible. La habitacion con vista al jardin es increible. La playa esta a escasos metros. El personal muy agradable. Lo único que cambiaria es el horario del desyuno haciendolo mas extenso hasta las 12 pm ya que habemos gente que no desayuna temprano. Preferimos descansar bien. Y el limite de 1030 es para mi gusto muy limitante. Ya que a esa hora generalmente voy despertando.

Esta bien, pero no volvería.
Casa Blat Ha es un gran lugar para pasar una estancia breve. Son hospitalarios y su servicio de limpieza es impecable. Las cama fue feísima, pero por fortuna había hamaca en el balcón y resulto buena alternativa.

Amazing place
Couldn't ask for a better location, right on the beach with a beach club at the bottom of the stairs. Front desk was excellent, helping us with everything and making recommendations. Couldn't have asked for anything more. The rooms are a little bit empty. If this is a serious problem then Holbox probably isn't for you, but I think they could have used a bit more furniture. At least some more hooks for hanging wet clothes. But the AC was blowing cold and the shower was hot, nothing to complain about.

A EVITER!! Nous n'avons pas passé un bon séjour à blat'ha. Cet hotel se veut cool mais dès notre arrivée nous avons trouvé l'acceuil désagréable. Il y a une odeur déplaisante dans la chambre dû au canalisation et il y a très peu de sécurité. Il n'y a pas de coffre-fort et les fenêtres ne ferment plus à clé. Ceci dit nous avons bien dormi et la mer est à 3 min. Au moment de faire nos bagages, nous nous sommes rendues compte qu'ils nous manquaient 50€ repartis dans 2 endroits (40€ cachés au milieu d'un sac dans un porte monnaie) et 10€ dans un porte carte. Nous en avons fait part à une réceptionniste dès que nous nous en sommes rendues compte. Cette dernière a appelé le manager et nous a dit qu'ils allaient tout gérer et de revenir le lendemain matin. Le lendemain matin, nous nous trouvons face au manager qui nous dit 1)qu'ils ne nous croient pas et qu'on a aucune preuve (normal c'est un vol!!!)2) que personne dans son équipe ne va risquer de perdre son travail pour si peu. Je lui dit que c'est hallucinant et que c'est la première fois de tout notre voyage que nous avons un problème. Il me propose de rappeler les chefs et je lui dit qu'on doit partir comme prévu et prévenu et là il me dit pourquoi vous n'avez pas réglé le sujet hier soir du coup??car sa collègue nous a dit de revenir le lendemain!!! Pour résumer, on s'est fait voler, on s'est fait insulter de menteuse et il se sont bien foutus de nous en jouant la montre avec un double discours. A EVITER A TOUT PRIX !!!

Viejo, descuidado y mal ubicado
Lo positivo, el personal es muy amable y te brinda apoyo para llamar un taxi, obtener toallas para playa y el wifi, se encuentra a media cuadra de la playa y el precio es económico. Lo negativo, las instalaciones se encuentran en pésimas condiciones, desde la puerta de la habitación hasta la regadera del baño, en el área de regadera pasa un tubo muy sucio del aire acondicionado, la regadera está tapada y no sale de manera correcta el agua, las camas no son cómodas y las habitaciones no tienen ninguna amenidad, se encuentra a 15 minutos caminando del centro, pero en ese tiempo es suficiente para que los mosquitos te piquen en gran cantidad, al estar alejado del centro no se cuentan con restaurantes ni tiendas cercanas. Saben que se encuentran lejos de las atracciones del Holbox y te rentan bicicletas en $300 cada una por día, considero que ante su mala ubicación deberían estar incluidas. Si crees que encontraste una gran oferta al comparar las fotos contra el precio estás en un error, sigue buscando

Great Value for Money
The hotel is extremely well located. A block from the beach. Far enough from the center. And on the way to the Flamingo area. The associates are extremely nice. The room is very clean.
