Goede Bed & Breakfast.
Prima adres om te verblijven. 1 min van het strand verwijderd. Leuk klein zwembadje op binnenplein. Eenvoudige doch stylische kaners. Geen wifi op de kamer & slecht internet in de rest van het complex. Een minibar op de kamer zou goede aanvulling zijn, daar het hotel geen bar of drinkmogelijkheden aanbied. Eigenlijk alleen kamer met ontbijt. Prima en hulpvaardig personeel. Alles is kraakhelder.

Our family of three (2 adults and a teenager) spent 8 nights at Tierra Mia. We could not be happier with our experience. It was our first visit to Holbox, and so we didn’t know the lay of the land. We wanted something close enough to good beaches and town centre but quiet. Tierra Mia had really good reviews and was in our price range. It proved to be the perfect place for us. The room was very clean with nice design touches. The layout of the property is lovely - a central courtyard with a pool and lots of lounging options. It was a great place to go when the beach got too hot. The beach is a 3 minute walk away - close enough to walk in your bathing suit and bare feet, but removed from the busyness of the beachfront (we realized that the drawback for the pricey beachfront hotels is that many of them have quad/golf cart traffic running in front of them along the beach roadway). Tierra Mia includes a lovely breakfast (Mexican and other options) in the room rate and it was a great way to start the day. To top it off, Tierra Mia has amazing staff. So friendly and helpful. The front desk staff in particular (Yisel and Fernanda) were a total delight and went out of their way to make it a special stay for us. We highly recommend Tierra Mia and would love to stay there again on a future visit.

Loved our stay here. So close to the beach, towards the quiet end. Great pool facility, beds were comfy and we had a safe in the room. Felt safe and was very quiet. Breakfast options were amazing. Only downside is that we went on early morning excursions and breakfast ended at 10am so ended up missing some days.

Cozy stay in Holbox
Packed with young people and good vibes, the hotel offers great value for money. Good location, which is 2 minutes walking to the beach and 10 minutes to the city center. Shoutout to the pancakes in the morning! The only sad note (if you are a privacy maniac) was the lack of privacy. Our room was on the ground floor and the bathroom had a window on the outdoor stairs. Obviously, we happened to share the hotel with a couple of curious guests that enjoyed looking in on their way up.

Schönes Boutique Hotel, sauber, schön dekoriert. Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer im 2. Stock, schöne Aussicht von dort und angenehm ruhig. Die Damen am Empfang waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Am ersten Abend hat es sehr stark geregnet und gestürmt, deshalb konnten wir nicht wirklich rausgehen. Da hat uns die Lady an der Rezeption eine Pizza bestellt und wir haben am Zimmer gesessen, sehr nett! Frühstück ist nicht üppig, aber voll okay. Zum Strand sind es 3 Gehminuten und ins Zentrum auch nur ca. 8 Gehminuten. Einziges Thema, Wifi funktioniert nur rund um die Rezeption, nicht am Zimmer. Wir würden das Hotel auf jeden Fall empfehlen!

hola, gracias por su comentario, para el staff de tierra mia fue un placer atenderlos, lamentamos que no fuera de su agrado el colchon, realmente no hemos tenido ninguna queja referente a los colchones, sin embargo tomaremos en cuenta su comentario, respecto a la sabana, en recepcion podia solicitar sabanas extras, incluso alguna cobija. esperamos poder recibirlos de nuevo .

Gracias por su comentario, para el staff de tierra mía fue un placer atenderle, gracias a su comentario podemos aclarar sus disgustos para nuestros próximos huéspedes , el wiffi que ofrecemos desde que realiza su reservación es el servicio en áreas comunes , es decir lobby, alberca, restaurante. En cuanto al desayuno, él menú que incluye es : café o té ilimitado, jugo o fruta , y un plato fuerte , en los cuales el menú a la carta es variado ya que ofrece , variedad de chilaquiles, huevos al gusto, hotcakes , bagels , omellet , fruta…. Lamentamos que para ustedes este menú no fue variado . Gracias por su visita en tierra mía

Très bel hôtel pour profiter d'Holbox;
Tierra Mia est un bel établissement pour profiter d'Holbox à moins de 5 minutes à pied de la plage et du centre ville. Les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables avec une très belle terrasse. Le personnel est très aidant et agréable. Les seuls points "négatifs" sont l'absence totale de wifi au second étage de l'hôtel ainsi que le petit déjeuner qui est le minimum attendu et en deça du standing de cet hôtel.

Oasis de paz en Holbox
Estancia muy agradable y placentera. El hotel es tranquilo, diseñado con mucho mimo. Las habitaciones son amplias bonitas, todas con vistas a la piscina. El ambiente es acogedor. Esta a 2 minutos de la playa. Estuvimos muy Agustí y lo recomendaríamos sin dudar.

El servicio de Fernanda y Luis espectacular. Esperaba más al anunciarse como boutique, las sábanas y fundas con hoyos, tuve q solicitar jabón por q no ponían nuevamente, el agua embotelladas en un lugar de calor súper importante aunque la cobren no importa , solo tiene un cocina pequeña para el desayuno q eso si muy amables y buen servicio y sabor , pero no puedes disfrutar ahí en la alberca por q no hay nada de servicio y no puedes comer ni cenar en el tampoco creo q eso hace falta . Mi error fue no revisar mejor las características del hotel , la calle donde se encuentra le falta iluminación

A beautifully designed hotel with a very eco feel that fits nicely into vide of the island. Staff very helpful from front desk through to restaurant and cleaning. Just a brief visit this time but would stay here again if returning to the wonderful Holbox

A wonderful and thoughtfully managed property. Its a real gem of place. Nice additions to rooms, like a safe, toiletries, beach towels. Lovely large pool area which is all kept super clean and well maintained. All staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. We would highly recommend and hope to be back soon.

Very beautiful hotel. We had a superior room and it was nicely arranged. We had a lovely terrace with an hammock which we really enjoyed. For two evenings the electricity cut on the island for few hours, but it was part of the experience and part of this wild island. Breakfast was really good! We loved it. Considering other hotels we have been to in Valladolid and Tulum, the one in Tierra Mia was the best! In other hotels the portions were very small or less good letting us often hungry but it never happened to us in this hotel. So highly appreciated!

We love staying at Tierra Mia. This was our third time, and our first time staying there with a child. The space is welcoming and beautiful. The pool is magical and exactly what you need to cool off. The staff is thoughtful and kind. Breakfast is plentiful (though I do miss the smoothies they used to have - now you can buy them at a shop in town). It is a 5 minute stroll to the beach (in an area that is not super populated) and also an easy walk to the town center. Renting bikes makes everything even more accessible. I would certainly return.

Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt, das Personal super freundlich. In der Lobby steht ein Wasserspender zum Auffüllen eigener Trinkflaschen. Ein paar mehr Ablageflächen im Zimmer wären schön, ansonsten ist es liebevoll eingerichtet. Zum Strand sind es nur 200m, in direkter Umgebung sind auch zahlreiche Restaurants. Wir empfehlen das El Poblano mit gutem Angebot zu fairen Preisen oder das Vegan-Restaurant Arte Sano. Das WLAN läuft stabil. Das inbegriffene Frühstück ist ein Gericht von der Karte plus Kaffee und Frucht oder Saft. Die Portion ist eher klein. Das Hotel ist auf jeden Fall eine Reise wert!

Incredible nature oasis. The whole island was rained out, so a lot of the area was flooded and missed out on some of the amenities due to the storms. Important note: Wi-Fi ONLY located in the lobby, not accessible in the rooms.

The property had excellent customer service. Luis and Dennis were very helpful in the duration of our stay. Housekeeping was on point and made sure your room was serviced even later in the day. The property has several amenities such as hammocks swinging beds that are on the exterior accompanying the pool area. I would definitely recommend this hotel. And I've stayed at several at Isla Holbox.

I was overall disappointed with my stay at Tierra Mia. The room itself was spacious and clean. We arrived on the last ferry, when the front desk closes. They waited for us to arrive past their closing time so we could get checked in. Unfortunately we were given room 1, which is right behind the front desk and so all the hotel guests have to walk right past the room. We also had a lot of noise from the kitchen and breakfast dining area. We could also hear noise from all the other guests at all hours, which is probably the case for all the rooms. The door to the room is a sliding glass door so we had to keep the blinds drawn the entire time for privacy. What was really disappointing was that we had a few small issues with the room, which by themselves weren't the end of the world, but were handled poorly by the staff. Issue #1: When we told the front desk person our TV did not work, she rolled her eyes and told us we had to use BOTH the remotes. Yes, we did that, it does not work. Issue #2: The shower does not drain. "Oh, that's weird, no one has ever complained about that before." Issue #3: Screen door does not stay shut. "Oh I'll send someone later to check it out." TV was fixed but the other two things were not, and there was never any apology or effort to mitigate the situation. When I asked for a different room, I was told they were full. When we checked out, there was no "Thank you for your visit." For this price, find yourself a hotel with actual hospitality.

Hola, gracias por su comentario , esto nos permite dar réplica y explicar cada punto que nos menciona , a todos nuestros próximos huéspedes, comenzaré con: Check in 1 hora después del cierre , ya que llegaron tarde y tuvieron una confusión de hotel, y se les hizo su check in más tarde sin problemas. Las habitaciones se asignaban como van cayendo nuestras reservas, sin tener alguna preferencia ni por ninguna situación especial. La habitación reservada fue estandar que se encuentran en PB del hotel. Se reportó 1 problema de la TV, el cual se atendió inmediatamente sin problemas, y el único problema con esa TV fue que se encontraba desconectada, se solucionó inmediatamente. Después se reportó un problema con la regadera que no se iba el agua rápido , problema que nadie ni lo había reportado como menciono nuestro equipo, se atendió dándole la mejor solución al filtrado lento del agua, sin embargo en ese momento en la noche no se podía realizar ya que tiene que venir personal de mantenimiento. No se le hizo ninguna mala cara, ni volteado de ojos. Respecto a el mosquitero se le dio la solución. En cada situación que iba a recepcion a mencionar , nunca lo hizo amablemente, se dirigió con una actitud no agradable con nuestro personal, siendo que son problemas que aparecen en el momento ya que no tenemos ningún reporte anterior, y se atienden. Sin embargo nos encontramos en una isla , donde si tenemos algún problema que no se pueda reparar con nuestro equipo en el momento ( recepcion) tenemos que esperar a personas especializadas en el Problema y no se atiende como en una ciudad , donde tienen todos los servicios de inmediato , por ello se les pide paciencia y comprensión. Es raro ver comentarios negativos para nuestro staff y hotel . Gracias por su comentario y lamentamos que la situación o el momento no le fuera de su agrado. El staff de tierra mi siempre estuvo pendiente de cualquier situación.
