'We had a great stay at the Funky Turtle. The house was clean and just enough space for my family of 5. The house is close to campground bathrooms if the occasional extra bathroom is needed. We enjoyed the fire pit, use of the grill, and sitting on the porch. Our only complaint is about the noise but it was clear from the map that the campground was located near an interstate. 'Everything was very enjoyable. The host was very helpful and communicative. The bed and tent were clean. There was firewood and fire starter for the campfire and a barbecue to cook with. Everything was functional. There were accent lights already turned on in the tent when we arrived, which was helpful during the night. The port-a-potty was very clean. The atmosphere was relaxing. Overall, a very pleasant and enjoyable stay.'

'We came looking for a camping spot for the solar eclipse. Our site was tucked away at the end of a huge field on a small peninsula with a running river nearby. The camping was amazing, the ground was nice and soft for our tents and we could build the campfire up with an endless supply of firewood. The stars were on full display as there wasnt much light pollution in this area. Taking a splash in the fast and cool river was a highlight.
