'The smell of seaweed was awful. You could smell it the minute our shuttle bus pulled up to the gate and cracked the door for security check and entry. As we pulled up to the resort and got out, we were overwhelmed by the smell in the resort lobby. There was no attempt to put out scent diffusers or anything to even try to mask the smell. It woke us up in the middle of the night in our rooms it was so bad. The beach and water was disgusting because of the rotting seaweed that was allowed to lay...

'The rooms were a great size , everywhere on the property was very clean. The beds were comfortable. The food and service were good/ some restaurants better then others but buffet was great. Shows or entertainment going on throughout the day. I wouldn’t recommend going during the seaweed season if you want the clear ocean. Hotel was walkable to downtown and convenient stores'

'The accommodations were well above expectations. The rooms are big, comfortable and well maintained. If anything was needed the staff was ready to provide. Room service 24 hours. Pool area was well maintained and staff at the pool area were very obliging. The breakfast buffet had plenty of options. We were gifted with the best service. Hostess Jolette and waiter Miguel (they work at Lola and El Comedor) made the stay extra easy, as we were spoiled by them.'
