'Werkelijk prachtige kamer mrt balkon en uitzicht op zee. Het was adembenemend! Alles was nieuw en schoon en stijlvol ingericht Ontvangst was hartelijk met een heerlijke cocktail. De bar op het strand ging dicht om 18.00 maar er zijn genoeg gelegenheden in de buurt om te dineren. Ook het ontbijt op het strand was prima en je zit er heerlijk met uitzicht op zee'

'Overall my experience at Habitas was bad. I booked this hotel for 7 nights and ended up leaving after 2. It was raining so hard that glamping was extremely uncomfortable and I was worried for my safety at night.

 The check-in process was confusing, because I thought I had paid the full amount up front in February, but the taxes of 19% were to be paid at checkin. Expedia was unclear if the amount included taxes or not. I arrived at night in the poring rain and the property has bad lighting....

'Exemplary hotel. The staff are wonderful and you get a friendly welcome as soon as you check in. The beach area is well looked after (always raking away seaweed) & the palms are beautiful- unlike many beach clubs close by which look unkempt and piled high with seaweed. This area really makes the hotel. It has a jungle/authentic feel rather than a soulless resort & with great service & very beautiful. 'My only problem was that we did not get the room we paid $800+ extra (about double the standard rate) to get for our honeymoon. Staff tried to make it right but I’m disappointed and feel misled. However everything else was a 5 star experience. The resort is gorgeous, loved the location l, and the staff was friendly - especially the restaurant staff. Speaking of the restaurant l, the food was insanely delicious. I would highly recommend Mi Amor. Just be aware you might not get the room you paid...

Found the staff to be extremely helpful and accommodating with top notch service and the hotel is very well located with a gorgeous stretch of beach area and walking distance to the best restaurants and bars in tulum.
