'My stay at Shibari was amazing. It was hard to leave this place as it was such a unique and truly magical spot. The included breakfast is top notch and the service was amazing. The only negative thing about it is on the weekends you can get some noise from the nearby clubs until 2am. This doesn’t bother me as I often wear ear plugs when I sleep. And any hotel near the club zone has this same problem so it’s just a downside to staying within walking distance of that zone. I would definitely stay...

'Great place to stay in the Tulum hotel zone if you’re looking to relax. The hotel is quiet and away from the busier/loud clubs. However, you are still able to walk down the beach to some of the beach clubs. The rooms are beautiful and very clean. The beds are very comfortable. The room was equipped with a Nespresso machine and mini bar. The pools in the room are beautiful and clean. Unfortunately, they are not heated so it was too cold for us to use during our stay. The hotel has great cabanas...

'Ein kleines Stück vom Paradies! Tolle ruhige Lage, langer Sandstrand, leckere Früchte zum Frühstück, Sternenhimmel über der offenen Dusche und von der Cabana Josefa Arriba ein wunderbarer Blick auf den Sonnenaufgang! Das Meer war warm & trotz einiger Wellen gut zum schwimmen ( dazu war der Pool zu klein). Personal sehr freundlich - wir haben die Zeit hier sehr genossen! Danke! '

'Werkelijk prachtige kamer mrt balkon en uitzicht op zee. Het was adembenemend! Alles was nieuw en schoon en stijlvol ingericht Ontvangst was hartelijk met een heerlijke cocktail. De bar op het strand ging dicht om 18.00 maar er zijn genoeg gelegenheden in de buurt om te dineren. Ook het ontbijt op het strand was prima en je zit er heerlijk met uitzicht op zee'

'I had the most relaxing stay at IKAL. i booked a trip to celebrate my birthday month. The hotel concierge was super helpful in booking my private airport pick up and drop off. Everything was super smooth. I booked the maya plunge and it was stunning. The room and property were well kept. The food was delicious and staff super friendly. The wellness programs were included with my stay and were super therepeutic. I booked a private tour to visit the ruins, cenote and ven a la luz. The hotel...

'My only problem was that we did not get the room we paid $800+ extra (about double the standard rate) to get for our honeymoon. Staff tried to make it right but I’m disappointed and feel misled. However everything else was a 5 star experience. The resort is gorgeous, loved the location l, and the staff was friendly - especially the restaurant staff. Speaking of the restaurant l, the food was insanely delicious. I would highly recommend Mi Amor. Just be aware you might not get the room you paid...

'This wonderful spot and we had a fantastic time. The cabins are clean, beds and sheets are soft and the beach is spectacular. The food and service is excellent. It’s different than your typical vacation spot. By the time we left the staff and other guests felt like friends and family. And there are cats!! '

'The hotel is beautiful and the staff were very kind and accommodating. They helped our family with everything we needed, especially with our 2 young children. The credit was nice and they even accommodated non alcoholic drinks for my wife who was pregnant. The upper deck and pool is very beautiful but the water is cold and you can’t take drinks or food up there, which is confusing. Still, we loved our stay at Hotelito Azul.'

'Overall my experience at Habitas was bad. I booked this hotel for 7 nights and ended up leaving after 2. It was raining so hard that glamping was extremely uncomfortable and I was worried for my safety at night.

 The check-in process was confusing, because I thought I had paid the full amount up front in February, but the taxes of 19% were to be paid at checkin. Expedia was unclear if the amount included taxes or not. I arrived at night in the poring rain and the property has bad lighting....
