'Our stay at Azure del Mar was beyond AMAZING! The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. We arrived in Belize City very late and then had a long drive into Placencia. Maria, one of the receptionist waited for us to arrive even though it was passed her working hours and asked the kitchen staff to prepare food for us to have for when we arrived. 'This is a very unique hotel in the area of Puerto Aventuras, an area that is otherwise quite dominated by big chain resort hotels. The staff are exceptionally friendly and makes you feel like you're part of a family rather than 'just another tourist'. Breakfasts are amazing! Rooms were clean and comfortable, great design of the hotel inside and outside. You can also use their bicycles which is a fun way to go around the town.'
