'The view was breathtaking. We also saw more wildlife than in the national parks. Daily maid service was great. The only negative was the walk to the beach, which was quite difficult. We were also told by lifeguards not to swim near the beach entrance due to rip currents, rocks, & a croc. '

Wifi worked for the phones but couldnt get any tv to work with, had to tether my cell to the roku, otherwise I would def go back, rooms are very big and the decoration is great. Full kitchen too. '

'Casa de la Vista is situated just outside of Maya Beach in a relatively quiet part of Placencia. It is close to several good restaurants, and getting to the local towns is super-easy.The house is perfect for families (we are a family of 5, including 3 teenage boys). 'This was the most amazing vacation and this house was the main reason. It's stunning, simply stunning. Sitting outside and listening to the waves was our favorite thing to do! We started every morning floating in the pool and ended every evening in the warm pool. Mango Cafe was our breakfast go- to but there are so many wonderful restaurants in walking distance.
