'Staff are all great. Good as can be. The daily breakfast was amazing. Our shower door would not close completely. The bathroom faucet also did not function well. The food overall was really well done. Overall a good experience though. '

'A wonderful time spent at the SMC resort. On this trip we didn't do the spa. It was a bit noisy than we're use to but we still had a relaxing time. We stayed as preferred club and not only was the service excellent in preferred but all over the resort. We cannot complain about the meals or our drinks and watching the entertainment outdoors under the moon and stars made it special. One drawback is they try to sell you timeshare but they did not pressure us when we declined. So thumbs up for SMC.'

'Would highly recommend!! The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The hotel was very clean and there were always cleaning staff in main areas. Food was exceptional. This is a more laid back resort which was fine by us however there is access to the other Riu properties for those who want more of a night life. We did take the provided transportation to Riu caribe to take in the white party which always a great time.'

'Very nice property. Staff were rude and disrespectful on multiple occasions (especially security). Handled a lost item situation very poorly and made us feel unsafe and vulnerable. Accused us of just being young and drunk when the item was reposted missing. (When in the end another guest stole it by mistake?) for that reason alone I won’t be recommending this hotel to any friends or family. '

We had such an amazing stay at Royalton Chic Cancun! From the moment we arrived, the service was incredible everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which really made a difference throughout our trip.
Upgrading to the Diamond Club was 100% worth it. The extra perks and elevated experience made everything feel more luxurious and stress-free. Our butlers Esteban and Alfonso were amazing and so helpful.

'In the hotel there is nothing to do,after you go to the restaurant. The buffet is very limited, we stay 5 days and only one of those there was Mexican food ‘, the water in the shower and in the wash basing smelled very, very very bad. The jacuzzi in the room was dirty with a lot of soap scum.'
