'The cottage is very cute and gives the experience of an authentic Irish country cottage however it wasn’t as tidy as a renter should expect and we had issues with the hot water and radiator heat the entire time of our stay. We addressed the issues with the owner and he tried to rectify the hot water and heating but we never had consistency the entirety of our stay. We also brought up the tidiness issue right away, we cleaned up ourselves, and he said he would address it with his housekeeping...

'We loved this place; historic, quaint, beautiful setting. We enjoyed the feeling of being “in” Ireland, instead of a hotel setting. There were 6 of us and we were very comfortable. The host was very accommodating with our changing plans. Thank you!'

'A family stay in Ballyboy View for the first time. Ideal rural location with easy access (short drive) to Manorhamilton town. All you should need provided for in the house, with a starter pack of teas and soda bread. Ideal for a short family stay with children. It’s highlight is the gorgeous 360 degree views of lovely Leitrim - although I’m bias, as my family are from the local area! :-))'

'The kitchen facilities were good with plenty of plates and everything provided like dishwasher tablets. The host was brilliant sorting a minor alarm issue wilst we were out for the day, peace of mind that this is provided along with cctv outside the property was nice for us as anglers. The location is fantastic for Cootehill and the surrounding area with a very friendly bar/social club just short walk up the road. There is a lovely view out the back and whilst we stayed in autumn I'm sure it...
